I want to make my Chocolate Chip cookies thicker and chewier.
Any suggestions?

As drop cookies no. If you are willing to do them as pan cookies yes. One tollhouse chocoloate chip recipe is best in a 9x9 pan. If you do a double recipe use a 13x9x2 pan which I used to do regularly. Lost my notes on how long to bake it, but test after 20 minutes and adjust from there at 350 degrees for a normal pan or 325 degrees for a coated one.

Just use more flour - that is my secret to nice fluffy chocolate chip cookies (if I don't add more than the recipe calls for, they are always flat). I think the Nestle recipe calls for 2 1/4 cups; I usually add in 1/3-1/2 cup more flour.

Another tip is to use butter that's not as softened - basically still chilled. Or use softened butter, but chill the dough after it's all mixed together. (also when I add nuts that helps, too)

(also when I add nuts that helps, too) I use the Crisco Butter Sticks. They make the cookies flufflier. Now I want them thicker!!! I used butter before, but man where they thin!
