He is a communist because he is making the US like Venezuela. Maybe he just hates taking money from the people of the United States and distributing it to a few highly profitable companies.

I quickly scanned the article in the link and did not see anything specific relating to exactly what subsidies are in place.
One thing for sure the article quotes the head of the oil and gas lobby that is accurate: The head of the oil and gas lobby in Washington contends that the president has it backward — that the industry subsidizes the government, through billions of dollars in taxes and royalties, not the other way around.
A few years ago in some energy legislation the fed govt was providing subsidies to local utilities to offer energy awareness programs, home energy audits and credits to home owners installed renewable energy systems, and such other items.

Uhhh, he has no problem doing it for banks, insurance companies, auto manufacturers, and Fannie/Freddie to the tune of trillions.
