::Didn't they mention though she had complications during Carl's birth? Routine C-section is one thing, complications would be another.::
I thought they said that since Carl was a C-section, she'd probably need a C-section this time too (hence the practice on the zombie chick). I don't remember them saying anything about complications, but they could have.

I thought they did, but maybe not. Complications were definetly arising when Maggie pulled her fingers back and they were covered in bright red blood. Nothing ever good comes from bleeding like that when you are giving birth. Even now women die in childbirth. I think there was a chance she could have survived if Hershel did it, but I'd assume in a zombie apocalypse there is a very good chance my number is going to be called if I have to give birth.

I too want to know about Michonne & who her pet zombies were. The Governer is interesting too. In the comic they were her fiance and her fiance's brother, I believe. I'm pretty sure that's what I read when I was trying to find info on Michonne at the end of the last season. If I remember right, they killed her children so this was a kind of revenge for her.

I would too, but in the context of the show (and the show then being the world they live in), I'm not so sure she'd see it as a death sentence given the miracles other people come back from to be just fine.
Also, at the time of the decision, they were planning on trying to stay on Hershel's farm. He seemed to have a pretty good setup for performing surgeries there given how quickly Carl and Darrell recovered after being shot (moreso Carl).
Would have been a much cooler ending had the baby died inside of her, become a zombie, and eaten it's way out of her "Alien" style.

I think in the comic they do mention that she almost died having Carl. I also think they alluded to that with the blood. She said she knew what it meant so it was probably similar to what happened before.
I really, really hope that Michonne (and Andrea) make it to the prison soon because she is such an awesome character.

Well, I can see now that I need to get the comic books at the library.

I want to see how the other prisoner was able to get away from the walkers and hide out for so long to cause such chaos.

You sound like my husband.
We didn't see Andrew die remember? Rick shut the door. He could have run for it. The walkers aren't exactly fast.

I keep waiting to see the black guy again from the 1st episode when Rick gets out of the hospital. I wonder if he will come back at some point.

I watch on Netflix, so have only seen seasons 1 and 2. In fact, I just saw season 2. I will have to wait for next fall to see season 3.
My son is at his dad's house on Sundays and Mondays, so he gets to see the eps as they air (dad has cable). He taunts me with statements such as "Oh mom, it's sooooo good. It's soooooo good this season! You can't even believe it mom, it's that good." He wants to get cable, lol.

And also, I'm dying to know....how long can a walker "live"? Like, will each one just go on indefinately unless they receive a head injury? This bit of info seems to vary from zombie tale to zombie tale.
Suppose you are in an area where it snows, will the cold weather make them dormant? If they get frostbite, at least they will be less of a threat if they lose feet and hands.

It looks like based on the episode before yesterday's that they can live pretty much indefinetly if the brain isn't destroyed. The Governor has a freaky deeky aquarium set up full of zombie heads and they are all moving. Based on the color of the water some of them have been there for awhile. Then according to the guy the Governor has researching the zombies, they lose the desire to feed if you lop off their arms and jaws, like Michonne's pets. They become basically docile.

In one of the recent episodes they stated that the walkers do starve, just a lot slower than a regular human. I would imagine they still are animated in the cold, they just may move slower.

In one episode they asked about the walkers without a jaw and "aren't they starving to death" and the answer as I took it was "yes, they are, but very very slowly". So I would interpret that to be "not indefinitely".

I'm tempted to call in one day when they are showing the "Talking Dead" show afterwards and ask about this. I know the guy (Lennie James) is a great actor and I'd really like to see what became of him and his son. I thought they were going to go somewhere with it because in the 1st season Rick continued to try and contact him through the walkie-talkies for a long time without success.

He does come back in the comic and becomes part of the group....but it's quite a while after the group ends up at the prison.

Again, I looked for this info - actually just this week. I looooved Lennie James in Jericho and really had hoped he'd be a main character when I saw he was in the first ep of this. In fact, it was partially because of him that I watched the first ep. What I found was that his character, Morgan, and Rick do cross paths again in the novels but it is way after where we see the TV show at now (the prison). I also found an article where Lennie James stated that he had been in contact with the show about returning and it was pretty much a scheduling thing. The last time they wanted to, he was committed to work on another show and couldn't but the he is very open to coming back.

Haha..don't get me started on how "Jericho" fails...yet "Revolution" is a hit show. Freaking ludicrous! Back to "The Walking Dead": Well..here's to them lasting quite a bit longer and getting everything taken care of schedule wise because he would be a great addition to the show.

Ok completely off topic but I know we have quite a few Firefly fans here. Do any of you watch Castle and did you see this week's episode. I didn't watch it until last night. I was in a very foul mood when I got home last night but hearing Castle say "Shiny" had me smiling ear to ear for a good 30 minutes. ;D

According to one of the producers on Talking Dead last Sunday the show is scheduled for seven seasons.

According to one of the producers on Talking Dead last Sunday the show is scheduled for seven seasons. I don't think that's what she said. I believe she said that they would "need more than 7 seasons to tell the story". Then referenced how many issues the comic has as backup. I don't think she said they're actually scheduled for 7 seasons to my knowledge. I'm fairly sure it was a reference to "here's how much material we already have to pull from, at least 7 seasons worth of stuff right now".

I might have been wrong. I thought she was saying they have written up to 7 seasons and there is plenty in the comics they didn't even explore/haven't explored.
So I interpreted that as there will probably be at least 7 seasons.

::I thought she was saying they have written up to 7 seasons and there is plenty in the comics they didn't even explore/haven't explored.::
They definitely haven't written 7 seasons, I don't believe they've even written season 4 at this point. I just went back and reread her quotes, I think we're both a little right/wrong. She did talk about the volume of material, and that she could forsee it going 7 seasons (and more in her words). But it definitely sounded less than "scheduled for 7 seasons" as you said, and more than "we just have the material for it" like I said.
Sounds like it was a reference to the idea that the guy doing the comic books has said he planned an end to the story eventually. And she was basically saying "don't worry, even right now I can see us going 7 seasons with what we've got" and then basically hinting that even if the comic book ends they could potentially develop their own storylines to continue if they wanted to.
::So I interpreted that as there will probably be at least 7 seasons. ::
If that producer has her way...then yes. She's definitely pitching that idea.

I just hope they don't lose track of all their storylines and flop like LOST or continue on after the story should have ended and make two sucky seasons like Supernatural.

Did anyone here watch Persons Unknown? Terra Nova? Survivors? All good shows which ended abruptly without "finshing" the story. I also would have liked more Jericho, more Doll House, and less Heroes ("carnival" storyline of last season was subpar, IMO).
