If I could I would. But I can't. So I won't.

That's just shameful on both of their parts. But what else could you expect?

I'd like to think that I would have the good sense to check her ID before escorting her to such a place.
As for the sleeping blob in the crib, what's the problem? The tot is too young to either focus or remember. As long as he or she does not get dropped or forgotten, what's the problem?

I'm pretty sure the baby won't remember going but if it is a boy (not sure what it is) maybe they'll get a kick out of telling his friends about it in the future. It sort of looks like it might be wearing a pink sock though so if it is a girl, she will probably be embarrassed for the rest of her life about it.

Partying at the Playboy mansion isn't really on my to-do list with or without a baby, but I don't see how any harm is going to come to an infant by having scantily clad women in the vicinity.

The party racket (when she's supposed to be in bed), the second-hand smoke (not just cigarettes!), lack of protective supervision when a helpless infant, the second-hand smoke, the potential for alcohol to be spilled on her (check out the photo), the second-hand smoke, the potential for (unintentional) drunken or buzzed mayhem by adults when a helpless infant, the second-hand smoke . . . Adults can do as they like, but the Mansion is no atmosphere for a tiny infant. Period. [ETA - yes, I know of what I speak. I've been there - as staff for a caterer, not a guest]

I don't see it as that big of a deal myself (although I don't have children so...). The baby is sleeping and appears not to be distressed by the event. She won't remember it anyways and they aren't giving her booze so why not?
The bigger issue I see is if his wife is dressed up as Camille, that is a pretty jacked up thing to do, considering he has 2 children with Camille. I obviously don't know any of them but even if Camille is the biggest B in the world, it would be in poor taste to mock her by dressing as her for Halloween. Kelsey's kids with Camille won't appreciate it and don't need more unnecessary friction between Mom, dad, and stepmom. JMHO of course.

Would you bring a baby to the playboy mansion? ---------------- Sure, why not? If anyone knows what boobies look like, it's babies.

What do you expect from two people who had an affair before Kelsey even bothered to tell his wife it was over between them? Both are skanks.

There were times we checked to see if she was still breathing because she sleeps that soundly and we thought no way could any human being sleep thru some of the rackets she has. Kid appears to be out like a light in the picture. If the kid can sleep thru it what is the big deal?

I don't see a big deal with bringing a baby there. Dressing as your husband's ex-wife is lame. In fact, both of their costume's are lame. They look as bad as a college Halloween party where nobody has any money, so they just buy some random cape, and pull a dress out of their closet and then pretend it is a costume. Seriously Kelsey - you are a pretty big star, couldn't you get someone to iron the wrinkles out of that thing you just pulled out of a plastic bag? I mean - what are you a devil? Where are your horns? A Vampire? Why no teeth or white skin makeup? A douche in a cape?

I know his new wife is blonde too, but I really hope that's a wig she's wearing (it's a bad one!)
I don't see the big deal with the baby being there... but agree that the costumes suck.

To me it's the equivalent of taking your baby into a smoky bar. I wouldn't do it. If you've got megamillions find a babysitter.

If there were people smoking there I can see that point.
Dressing up like the ex wife is just tacky.
And if mom and dad are getting so rip roaring drunk they can't take care of the baby that'd bad.
Otherwise, meh the baby probably slept most of the night.

Not to me. I used to drink naked in front of my baby all the time. I wouldn't take my 8 year old to a party at the Playboy Mansion - but an infant. Meh.

I was exposed to second hand smoke most of my life and have asthma. Second hand smoke has been linked to SIDS. My dad died from smoking. It's a topic that I'm not reasonable on.

Is there a lot of smoking at the PBM? California is so weird on that. I've never seen any smokers in LA - so I wouldn't even think they would be inside the mansion smoking. Maybe there is a smoking area outside?

And what proof do you have that they were smoking? I am anti-smoke also but that doesn't keep me from going to bars or parties. One does not necessarily implies the other. At most the baby is going to see a bunch of boobs which at that stage is equivalent to me seeing a pizza : meal time. And when she was awake she was probably the star of the party, being passed around and everyone "oohing" over her.

Hugh is over 80 now, right? I'd imagine the parties are a lot tamer than they were back in his heyday.

I don't advocate exposing babies to second hand smoke either. A week of second hand smoke in Las Vegas sent my allergies into overdrive and gave me allergy induced asthma. I know the risks.
I'm not assuming there was smoking at a party I didn't attend. I used to watch Girls Next Door and I didn't see any smoking. Most of those parties are outside in tents anyway.

And what proof do you have that they were smoking? In one of the articles a playboy bunny was complaining the place was full of smoke. I can't find it now. CA also has some weird rules on smoking - DH used to go smoke at a bar that was allowed to have smokers because it only served beer or something.

I don't see the big deal unless there was smoking.
