Oh, the unfairness of it all... ;D Some people are just self-centered no matter how much I want them to think about me. I forgot about the Cardinals.... they were the team that did not deserve to make the play offs other than they added another wild card game this year........

Well history tells us that the third debate does not usually change the momentum of the person in the polls, unless he makes a real stupid comment, so I am leaning to a wet Soldier Field. I wonder if they have solved the bad sod issue this year, or will it be another lousy night where the cleats do not work, and receivers cannot make their cuts to clear the defender, and the quarterback cannot set their feet to pass properly. May come down to a Hester kick return tonight and 150 yards running out of the backfield.

In their defense, they did know that going into the season. It's a well known fact that the Cardinals like to make things as hard on themselves as possible.

Hmmn, Dems all say the game is it. I don't know if I want to sit in a rainstorm and drink over priced beer. I could still tape the game and watch the debate. It is seriously thundering outside right now, but not raining yet. Count me as an "undecided" right now So bring some whiskey in some barnoculars- debate vs. Monday night football isn't even debatable

Bears / Packers is a rivalry.
Bears twice-annual beatdown of the Lions is not.

"...I am part of White Sox Nation, so if the Cards make it to the series, I will be rooting for them. Anything to aggravate die hard Cub fans." I am neither fish nor fowl - more a Cubs fan than a Sox fan, but I enjoy both, when I attend in-person. I was raised a South-sider (southwest suburbs, anyway) and grew up attending Sox games exclusively. In my late 20s, a boss of mine took me to Wrigley Field to see what a daytime baseball game looked like in an honest-to-goodness old-fashioned baseball park. I fell in love with the place, and the Loveable Losers, and have never looked back. I went over to the Dark Side - the shade of my much-beloved Irish South Side grandfather is whirling in the afterlife like a dervish - and, I'm quite sure, if my old childhood Catholic parish had learned of my Conversion and Apostasy, I would have been excommunicated by one of the South Side bishops. And, of course, once they bulldozed Comiskey Park down to the ground and rebuilt it as US Cellular Field, it was never, ever the same - it's a nice park but it doesn't "feel" like the Sox of old. So I get out to an occasional Cubs game - driving 50-60 miles from where we're at to get there - but don't really go to Sox games any more. Still, I'm enough of a 'parochial' type or 'regional' or 'city' Loyalist, to rejoice when EITHER of them do well against other cities... I only become vaguely partisan when they're playing each other. Sox People don't aggravate me, for one, then again, I'm not sure that a rabid foaming-at-the-mouth Cubs Bleacher Creature would agree that I'm a "die-hard" fan...

You'll get more enjoyment watching the Bears win, than watching Romney lose.
Get thee to the stadium ....

Well, we have had a few thunderstorms, with Lightning. Even lost the electric and internet for a few minutes. Thought I was in an episode of NBC'S show "Revolution". Went out and stared the car to check, just in case Decided it is game time-going Chi-town tonight Bears win!

the game's over, the Giants won. oh, there's other games? ;D Work, I will let that slide, because you are one of the good ones. If you watch, I will be the one in the yellow rain slicker, died Romney red, tonight. Bear's team side 30 yard marker about half way up. I will be off the grid til around midnight or so, and will be anticipating a fair and balanced discusssion of tonight's debate, when I get back, unlike the first two debates here

Which was more boring. The football game or the debate? Didn't see the game, so, couldn't say, although blowouts usually aren't very pretty. Although the debate last night was certainly no blowout - it was a 'near-run thing' and ugly as hell. Not to mention being boring enough for 80-90% of the time so as to make snail-races seem like the epitome of excitement by comparison. Neither of them were exactly Mister Motivation - not even close. Godalmighty, but I'm glad the debates are over. Even if VB had a krappy time and froze his butt off, he still probably had a better and more interesting time than we did watching the debate last night.

Bears win by a 2 to 1 margin ... as did Obama, according to this AM poll of uncommitted voters. VB made the better choice ...

"... VB made the better choice..." Agreed. The debate itself was "all over the map" and one of the most boring ones I've seen in recent election campaigns.

Da Bears! Detroit really self destructed on offense last night. And of course, the Bear defense was there to save the day. Got in way too late to watch the debate last night
