I guess it was a brand I don't use as I don't remember a shortage. Under those circumstances I would probably consider temporarily switching! That must have happened when I was pregnant (and didn't need them for a time ) as I don't remember a shortage either.

HA! I looked it up online and there's an article from January 2010 about it ( pssst..... it's the one that's applicator free in case anyone needed to know)

beer- yup- it was from a while ago. Shortage hit here right around the first of that year. IDK they are the ones I like.
FWIW_ I keep teasing my DH and tell him I've been quietly stocking up on tampons, Tylenol and a few things like that. I figure if we ever have a zombie apocalypse or global power outage I will make a killing selling them on the black market ;D

LOL - now that you mention it, I recall a couple of months of using a different brand. I just assumed that my store opted to no longer carry my brand, as they seem to use my shopper card to determine exactly which products to discontinue.
