Let's imagine someone who was born and raised in environment where everything was easy and reachable. Take one element out and person WILL ! ACTUALLY ! SUFFER !!! Because of the circumstances. Can we really blame them? Some people starving for bread and some for caviar... However do you really think person who had comfortable life and who was thrown into less comfortable life have no feelings? Do they really deserve no mercy and ridiculing when they can't afford luxuries?
I find people refuse to touch raw meat (and buying 3 times more expensive meat) to save money is more repulsive than poor formerly rich person who all he wants is to have it all as he used to. I am honestly feeling for them...

I have been in both circumstances, and I don't feel sorry for the rich person who lost his luxuries. You adjust and move on. It's called survival.

I feel sorry for anyone down on their luck. Do I feel bad that a former caviar eater can no longer buy caviar? No. But I would feel bad if that person could no longer feed their children.

They shouldn't be looking for caviar anymore. However if child grew up as a wealthy kid - how are they supposed to know that there are people on bread and water? It's not like their parents are friends with low-income class people! Sould they be just at some point questioning their parent's wealth and seeing if there are people not as rich? I think this is never been looked into enough...

One needs to look beyond oneself to the meaning of life. And, that applies to everyone. There are lots of wealthy people who are also become generous philanthropists too and help build schools, hospitals, etc. As for "feeling sorry", i would hope that we have compassion for people who suffer losses. But, losing your Mercedes isn't tantamount to losing your spouse and one has to keep worldly goods in perspective to other things.

I imagine a lot of people here who are so superior would learn a little sympathy if they were down. A lot of arrogant better then that losers here. Wishing ill on rich people isn't any better than wishing ill on poor people.

I don't pity anyone just cause they don't feel good. If they are hungry, homeless, have health issues...those kinds of things, I feel sorry for them. But just for not having as much as you want? No, I don't feel sorry for them.

He was criticizing "arrogant better than that loser"s. We clearly comprehended what was written differently. Cret has posted many times about how he hopes for the downfall of civilization so that people who lack compassion for the downtrodden will have it pounded into them. I like Cret, but it isn't a healthy mindset, nor is it one that will be conducive to wealth building, which is something he has said he is interested in doing.

I'm not going to feel too sorry for someone who thinks they are suffering because they can't afford caviar anymore. I might say "that sucks" but their rants are going to go in one ear and out the other. Caviar is not a NEED and you will be able to survive not being able to afford it just fine.
If it is a dire soul crushing crisis that you can't afford brand new designer snowboarding boots or caviar you might want to take a really long hard look at yourself in the mirror.
There is a lot of stuff I want I can't afford and it stinks sometimes, but that is called life. I am still able to pay all my bills, support my kid and put food on the table. That is more than a lot of other people have.

My heart bleeds for people who had to let their personal trainer go. Really.
Actually, I know a woman who is always bitching because she had to downsize. She had to sell her $7 million country "cottage" and settle for a $4 million one. Most of the time I just want to smack her. To listen to her, you'd think she was living on Ramen noodles from the food bank.

I'm not going to feel too sorry for someone who thinks they are suffering because they can't afford caviar anymore. I am not preaching onto givng them a caviar at all! However I am asking to be more tolerant and not to make movies and not to write articles to put them down like if they were clowns just because they were lucky once and now they aren't. But who am I kidding? That poor Princess is all over the world because she rubbed oil on her HUSBAND's body !!! People suck!!!
