Has anyone seen the commercials for this new movie?

I about died laughing.

First I was watching some late night show and they were talking about Lady Gaga and how she plumped out, stating she wasn't going for that skinny look any longer because it gives girls the wrong message.

REally? Attributing Gaga for the fat look? Let's get serious, there were many more before her who should get the credit for that. Gaga is only fat and ugly now because of her drug and alcohol abuse . . . but I guess she's the perfect role model for our youth. (that was sarcasm for those who don't get it)

I could not believe they were comparing this movie to Gaga. There is no comparison. This Fat Amy movie if they are going to compare it to anything, should be with the movie Hairspray. It's along the same concept.

Get a life reporters, stop promoting a drugged up, washed out has been.

Anyway, rant over.

The one scene that made me laugh was when Amy went to sign up for the music thing. The two girls are "You call yourself fat Amy?"

Amy says "Yes, so twig bitches like you don't say it behind my back."

The line is in the trailer below

I believe I explained it quite well in the last part of that statement that you conveniently left out.

I never did consider her pretty. But for those that did, she ruined it all when she started putting massive amounts of that poison into her system.

Drug and alcohol abuse ruins your complexion, hair, skin, and everything else. You can't put that much poison into your system and expect to look good.


Seeing a fat person has never bothered me. there are many beautiful fat people out there.

Perhaps there's the chance that I am. It's been my experience that when people did what she did it's usually for one reason . . and that reason is to twist words and try to insinuate that someone meant something they didn't.

I would totally watch this movie.. i liked Hairspray too, though, so.... only natural.

And for the record, what difference does it make how beags feels about Gaga to begin with? why is she being attacked for stating her opinion? whether beags liked Gaga before the drugs, etc is irrelevant. the only reason Gaga was even brought up is because they were comparing the movie to her, but the thread is about THE MOVIE, not Gaga.

Yeah, her character looks hilarious. Hopefully they didn't show all her good lines in the preview. I hate that. You laugh your butt off at the preview then when you see the movie you realize they showed all the jokes already. Makes me stabby.

Isn't the character that plays Amy the same girl that was the British(Australian?) roomy in Bridesmaids? I love her! She's a scene stealer she is so hilarious. I'll definitely watch just for her. And I think her belly is better looking than GaGa. But I think "Amy" is very pretty.

we drove to the hospital in heavy fog to deliver our daughter. So she would have had the name Kiho . . it means fog. (Although she did get the nickname Songbird by a person online here because of her beautiful singing voice.)

Our son was born late. Over two weeks late. So he could have been named Anuj.

(although I wanted Denin which had nothing to do with the weather or that he was born late)
