There's a thread in the How-To section at the top of the homepage with instructions for positng images. notmsnmoney.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tutorials&action=display&thread=1236If you post a pic it's easiest to use "Reply" - not "Quick Reply" Click on this icon at top of message box ----->> Two sets of square brackets will appear, the first with img inside them, the second with /img like below but WITHOUT any spaces between brackets & text: [ img] Insert the picture url link between those two sets of brackets. Then you can click "preview" at bottom of message before posting to see if the image is visible.

I followed the instructions SL set out last week, and it didn't work for me either. I ended up just posting the link.

Oh - it worked this time! Woo Hoo! I posted a picture from photo bucket to here, but erased it. It was too big. How are your settings in photo bucket, thyme? I've been trying to re-size my settings for the last 15 minutes to no avail. The pictures are still so huge. Help.

I have to go out now. So if you've returned to respond and I am seemingly not recognizing your response... Just know I am not ignoring you, but will check back a bit later..

Insert the picture url link between those two sets of brackets. Then you can click "preview" at bottom of message before posting to see if the image is visible.
You can also just type any of the tags into your message. That's how I quoted SL right above this. All tags must go inside square brackets, these things [ ], and there can't be any spaces between the brackets and the tag, and I don't put spaces between the tags and the link or picture I'm putting up.
That works with any tags: quote /quote (makes a quote box) blockquote /blockquote (makes an indented paragraph with no quote box around it) link /link (makes a clickable link) img /img (posts a picture) b /b (makes the text in between bold) i /i (makes the text in between italic) s /s (makes the text in between strike through)
You can also nest tags within each other. So you can put a quote box inside of a quote box. Or bold just part of a quote. Just make sure you put the close tags in, and don't put any extra spaces in the tags, between them and the brackets, or between them and the text you're trying to link or whatever.

I can bring my pictures here alright, but they are still way too big. I will play around with re-sizing on photo bucket's site and try, try again.. I think I will youtube an up to date tutorial too, while I'm at it. Thank you so much, everyone, for your help.
