No, but I definitely know how it goes with brothers!! Maybe I should smack my DB with my coupon file??? Nah, if you give him a head injury, it will just be an excuse! Besides, mine is the father of my wonderful nephews, so I just have to deal with it...

I didn't get a REDPLUM in my mail this week. Might be a good week to buy the local paper at the dollar tree for a buck for the P&G. The SS in the local paper sux! I generally buy the Cleveland paper for 2$ to get the best Q's.

L'Oreal Youth Code rebate update - one of my blog readers was kind enough to update me on this rebate. She purchased the youth code kit for $29.99 and was concerned that she might not qualify for the $10 L'oreal rebate (WYB $30 of Youth Code products). She called L'oreal and they said they would honor it!

I did the arnicare deal at WAG on Wed because:
It was a $2 moneymaker since I had a $2 coupon and it gave $6 in RR There are quite a few things on the 2/27 WAG ad I/family want/use I think my Dad may be able to use this for help w/back pain
Jewel (Albertsons) had Red Gold can tomatoes on sale $1/2. There is a $1/4 insert coupon that expires 4/30/11 so it is prob fairly recent (this year). OOP becomes 0.25/can which is WAAY cheaper than generic or Aldi.
My local Safeway (Dominicks) does not have the new $42 in Coupons booklet. Since the freezer month specials do not start until next week (March) I will wait until then but if they do not have the book or I have MORE issues w/staff being pills about giving me any I will be contacting the store mgr and corp, AGAIN. Please post if your stores have it & if so where (state).

I have a couple RepHresh coups that I can scan & email - I thought someone was looking for one, but can't find the post. The coups are identical, so I'd assume you can use them more than once?

I am still living in the LOCC- but if DB gets this other newspaper job he applied for, I will get the leftover coupon inserts. I have to cut them out, but hey, I can think of worse- I used to have to assemble and deliver the blasted things as a kid- 1500 of them at one time... I hope the purex list helped everybody looking for Purex with Zout- I was able to get the list from Purex.com, along with the info about the q.

I found this deal somewhere and will be trying it out later today, but as you don't use my RA i can tell you all...LOL So Loreal Healthy look hair colour creme gloss is supposed to be @ 50%. There's a $2 in add coupon, +a $2 MQ. Comes out to 99c. (which to me is a great price for hair colour). BUT someone reported that there is a $5 UP with this? Maybe a $4 MM. Not sure if there is a limit but i only have 1MQ anyway. Pretty sure someone in upstate PA will try this out at lunch!!

marvholly - I live in San Diego, CA and saw the freezer coupon books last night at VONS (I think the same as Safeway). They were in holders mounted to the freezer doors.

I am trying to get back to my couponing. Since hubby is traveling a lot for business now, I am really not spending much. His traveling does bring in an additional $900 a month though. Anything good at CVS or Walgreens this week?

I did notice that Walmart was selling out a lot of stuff. I think mine is reorganizing the entire store. It is a superwalmart. Picked up a bunch of haircolor for $2 a box.

Had some good deals this week.
Walgreens 2 L'oreal Feria for $6.99 each = 13.98 minus $5/2 coupon = 8.98. Plus I got $3 RR back.
Not bad when these are often $10-12 each!
Rite Aid: L'Oreal makeup BOGO50%. $16 + $8 = $24 minus 4/$20 VV coupon minus $3 MF minus $2 MF Spent $15 plus tax. AND got $5 UP back (had to fight for it but she made it go through for me).
Feeling pretty happy with these deals!

hopetoberich - the $5 UP is if you spend $15 on L'Oreal products. Since you'd be spending less than $1 you wouldn't qualify. I was a smidge under $15 because of coupons but she put it through anyways.

All prices to get Ups or ECBs or RRs are before coupons. HTH.

Ooty, there's no RP insert this coming weekend. I posted scenarios for free Huggies diapers at WAGS next week, lovesavingwithcoupons.blogspot.com/2011/02/free-huggiesmotrincolgate-at-wags-227.htmlAlso, for those who are able the get the papers on Saturday, there will be a $2.50 Pampers Q in the 2/27 PG. WAGs Pampers = $8.99 - $2.50 Man Q - $2 Infant Care Q = $4.49, get $2 RR. Cost after RR = $2.49 Misspt - did you get the Qs I sent?

Hi hounds! Here's a scenario I did on the fly today at WAGs. My dad is diabetic so I've been trying to get as much neuragen for him as possible. I ended up getting cheap diapers and wipes too! Here's what I did - starting out with a $10 RR from the neuragen deal and a $2 RR from a deal I don't remember:
Transaction #1 1 pampers jumbo pack - 8.99 1 pampers wipes - 2.50 1 arnicare - 5.99 3 Hunt's tomato sauce - 1.00 with in-ad Q minus $2 Q for pampers and wipes (1/30 PG I think) $2 Q from infant care booklet (thank you frugalsuz!!) $2 Q Arnicare (IP) $10 RR from neuragen $2 RR from Colgate (I think? - don't remember!) OOP = 0.48 + tax Received $6 RR from Arnicare, $2 RR from Pampers
Transaction #2: Neuragen - 14.99 Garlic powder - 1.59 (we needed some) Blueberry cream lollipop - 0.50 (DD was with with me and she said "mama I wanna byoo-bebby yoyipop" - YOU try saying no to that!) minus $10 Q from diabetes care booklet for neuragen $6RR from arnicare OOP = $1.08 + tax Received $10 RR from neuragen
The Arnicare and Neuragen deals last through tomorrow and my stores have had excellent stock so far, which is RARE for my area. So you should be able to roll these deals back and forth into one another a couple of times if you can print the Arnicare Q's and get a couple of diabetes booklets. And you can substitute anything for the diapers in transaction #1.

Last week I was using the exact same principle to stockpile (24) lbs of Domino Sugar. I was also able to pick up a $2RR for the Reach floss every time I bought the Arnicare and sugar or the Neuragen. I burned all my RRs this week on (6) Maxwell House coffee, (4) coffee mate creamer, and (6) Arizona ice tea. I love it when your OOP more than covers the value of what you REALLY want and you walk away with RRs to boot. I am praying that the Motrin deal this Sunday at WAGs includes the regular IB and not just the PM cuz we actually need some ibuprofen in the house.

Neither of my stores restocked the Neuragen after the first week dancin I think you'll be fine on the Motrin. The ad says "Motrin IB 20ct." even though the picture is the PM. I'd bet they will both be on sale with RR. I'd rather have the regular Motrin but the $6/2 MC's look like they are only good on the PM.

I loved those deals this month because they really didn't take much effort or tons of coupons! I only get a few inserts a week and I don't have time for "hard-core" hounding with repeat visits and multiple transactions. So having a month-long deal with easy-to-access coupons and good stock in the store really helped me out. And I (or my dad) can actually use everything I've bought, which is great.

ShopRite is going to be awesome again next week! I was just perusing through the circular and right off the bat I see some moneymakers. Nestle items - buy 10, get back $12. Theater size candy and Nestle candy bars are $1 each, so $2 profit ConAgra Products - buy 15, get back $12. Hunts tomato sauce is $0.40 each (not sure what the limit is) and there are a bunch of items for $1. Pinnacle products - buy 8, get back $12. Duncan Hines brownie mix is $1.29 each (limit 4 per variety). Buy 8, $1.68 profit Kraft - super excited about this one! Buy 5, get back $12. Includes Philly Cooking Cream for $1.49 and Crystal Lite to go $2. I've really been wanting to try the cooking creams so this will be great. 5 creams = $4.55 profit or 5 crystal lites = $2 profit Now to search for coupons....

Thanks for the link to the scenarios, pubbler! Anyone want those pampers coupons that are coming out 2/27? We don't use pampers diapers here. I'll even include whatever pampers coupons that are already out. PM me
