Herekitty: We too are getting pounded with blowing and drifting snow on top of ice. DH is fighting a losing battle trying to clear a path. No hounding for me today on my day off.

Frugalsuz: Can you let me know what you find out from madcoupons? TIA misspt - ok, so I heard back from her. She said she got some coupons in, but much less than she normally does. She was able to fulfill some orders, but not everyone's. I lucked out and she sent my order out to me, which is why I didn't get any emails. I love her pricing, but it seems like there are a lot of kinks in the system. Welcome back suziQ! I hope you're resting those couponing feet.

Did anyone have trouble at Petsmart using the $8/1 IP's? I went to two different stores and neither one gave me a lick of trouble....I just love when things go "slick as snot". I just wish all stores were as easy as Petsmart!! I find that Target is also very easy to coupon. They never give me any trouble with using multiple Target Q's in one transaction. Sure does make it easy as not to have to do back to back transactions. Yup, I wasn't allowed to use my two $8 coupons today. The cashier was scrutinizing those coupons like crazy. But that was ok, I picked up 9 bags using the $5 inserts coupons and paid around $3 in tax. I picked up some kitty toys as well, so I'm not sure how much tax was the food versus the toys. One of my cats is at the vet's right now, sleeping over for a dental cleaning in the morning. Hopefully it will just be a cleaning and they won't have to pull any teeth, but that is a possibility. Cleanings on cats are considered surgeries since they give them anesthesia, so I figured he earned a couple toys to play with when he gets home tomorrow. Its for his own good, but its killing me knowing he's locked up in a cage there right now, probably terrified. He gets so stressed when I take him to the vet.

Wow, frugalsuz, I'm really disappointed in madcoupons system. I just really don't know what else to say.
The $8 science diet coupons are off any 1 no size specified bag, right? On what grounds did she refuse the coupons?

On what grounds did she refuse the coupons? She said it was because the coupon was greater than the price of the item ($8 coupon, $5 item) and she couldn't adjust it down. Since I was already getting 9 bags for free, I didn't fight it. I figure I might be able to find another deal on them before the coupons expire anyway.

suziq- Glad you're home recouping! Take care of yourself! No inserts in the local paper here. Bertolli 5 cheese sauce- How does this taste? I am a Classico 4 cheese girl (when I don't make it), but if this tastes good, I would try it on sale with a coupon (I can always add more cheese and garlic to it)

I got the REDPLUM today for 2/20/11. LOTS of high value Q's. 3.00/1 Purex detergent, 1.00/1 Purex softener, 2.00/1 Dial lotion? ooty: I just realized that the Purex will be on sale at CVS starting 2/20 for $1.99!! PUREX FREE AT CVS STARTING 2/20: If you get the $3/1 Purex Detergent coupon that ooty reported will be in the 2/20 RP, grab that puppy, do not pass "GO", do not collect $200, and go to CVS to get yourself some free laundry detergent at CVS!! HOUND ALERT I didn't get any Purex Qs in either of my papers, not even the good one. Very skimpy this week! Anyone have a couple extra? I just found out that my church is going to put together some baskets with HBA type items for some missionaries...... I "think" I can help with some deodorant and pads.

Boy, I wish we would have gotten that Target frozen food deal. I cannot believe all the things they are able to buy for so cheap. I would have surely stocked up on my Smart Ones with that deal. I eat them daily for lunch at work. mamaw I got it! I hope they have enough left when I get there Friday to use a couple of my $4/10 coupons.

Hi all, I'm with the group that didn't get the awesome Purex coupon too...I was so mad b/c the paper I get is pretty good about including all the inserts in each week. I was on my way home from my parents, so I didn't get to check my paper b4 stopping at the gas station to buy more...$6 wasted. Oh well. On the bright side, I did get an awesome deal at WAGS this week. 2 Herbal Essence conditioners $12 -$1/2 OOP $11, plus tax Get $5 RR I paid this much b/c DD has super curly dry hair and goes through a big bottle of the Hello Hydration flavor every two weeks. It ended up being .50 more a bottle than what I usually pay at Walmart, plus getting a $5 RR. Deal 2 3 bottles Listerine Zero (1 liter) $5.75 1 "egg" of knee high panty hose (filler, 25 cents after in store coupon) -$2/1 in store coupon listerine -$2/1 coupon (not sure where I got this, I had already clipped it) -$5 RR OOP 1.75 + tax For those who don't have the $2/1, there are bottles of the Zero that have a $1.50 instant coupon...although the WAGS that I went to had plenty of stock (about 10 bottles) and someone had come through and took them. Does that call for bad coupon juju? I would've been highly upset if I was counting on that coupon.

Shelly - do you still have any $5 Maalox Qs? I'm gonna get the Maalox with my Qs to get my total to $100 (I still need $48! yikes). But I figure if I get the $4.69 bottles & use my Lays RC, I can get everything free & get my $20 UPs. HTH Next week is gonna be a good week at WAGS. I've got to finish taxes today & will post scenarios on my blog. I'm already seeing free Huggies diapers.

Stop'd at WAGS on my way to work this morning - did alright, but got a bit flustered. Is neuragen still on sale? They didn't have the sale price tag by it - just the regular price at $34.99! So I wasn't sure, I panic'd and quickly pulled out a different "scenario" and moved some RRs around (some were expiring today). I could have had them price check it, but I just wanted to get in & out & to work (shocker, I know! haha).

There are no tags up at my store either (there never have been). The first time I did the deal I had to have them do a price check for me to make sure that it was $14.99.

I don't suppose anyone got an extra raincheck from Petsmart for the Science Diet? Had to go to BF's dad's house unexpectedly last night and got to Petsmart five minutes after closing.

Is the Science Diet deal over? Was it only for doggie food? My kitty cat will meow "discrimination"!! So, I bit the bullet and did the Olay Body Wash deal at WAGS last week. I really love their body wash (and Dove) and they had the new "flavors" on sale 3/$10 w/$3 RR. I used the 3 P&G q's buy 1 bwash, get 1 Olay complete moisturizer free (up to $6). I also used $21 RR's and had to buy a .12 pencil as a filler. My OOP was $4.24--@$3 of that was tax. We like the Olay moisturizers and it's always so tough to get a really good moisturizer for a good price--although I will be doing the Youth Code deal at RA this week. I also had to "burn" $11 ECBs that were expiring. There just hasn't been anything exciting at CVS is sooo long so I bought the Yuban coffee, some 2L Diet Pepsi's (I had a raincheck for those). My OOP was .44. SuziQ: So happy to hear you are back in the comfort of your own home! This will give your DD some practical nursing experience! Let your fam take care of you!

Thanks dancin - I thought there was a tag when I did the deal the 1st time, but it was a different store. I'll have to go through my RRs & re-figure a scenario for myself. Going to use the $10RR that I got from the 1st neuragen I got to buy the glucose monitor for $14.99 & then do the mail-in rebate for it - I shouldn't have any issues where they'd only give me back what I paid in actual cash for the monitor, should I?

Unadvertised CVS freebie for this week - EOS Lip Balm (Summer Fruit or Lemon variety) $2.99, get back $2.99 EB (Limit 1) = FREE Also, for some folks Powerade is ringing up as four for $1.25. There are $1 off 3 hangtag coupons in some stores as well. So if you bought 16 bottles and can find five coupons, you'd pay just the tax. With these kind of deals, always scan the item at the price scanner before buying, just in case the sale price isn't in your area.

My OOP was .44. Like you, i also had ECB's to use up. They sent me a $3/$15 in email so i got Olive oil, 2 sugar, 2 Truvia, 3 Albacore, spices and had 0.60 oop. Dh is Diabetic but said he didn't like the "new" sugar...oh well.$6ecb down the pan. So i am out of CVS for a while. There food prices are so high but i can stretch to 60 cents oop. Thanks for Dancin for the tip about sugar prices heading up, and also to Suzi for always saying to buy food with ecb's when there is nothing to roll. I learn so much here.

That said, the only time I have read that someone has had a problem with them is when they use a monitor manufacturer's coupon to buy them. For example, if there is a $10 manufacturer's coupon out for that monitor right now, you might have problems cuz the Neuragen RR will show as using a $10 manufacturer's coupon. HTH

Cotton is supposed to go up too by 20%. When DH and I were at Costco last Saturday we bought 2 packs of t-shirts, 1 package of briefs, and one package of socks for him. He really doesn't need them NOW, but he will need them eventually.

Thanks for Dancin for the tip about sugar prices heading up, and also to Suzi for always saying to buy food with ecb's when there is nothing to roll. I learn so much here. And following suzi's advice, I have $26 in RRs (one $10 and eight $2s). Coffee Mate and Maxwell House coffee are on sale this week at WAGs so I decided to see if I could cobble together a scenario that would allow me to swoop on some coffee and creamer with little or no OOP. Here's what I came up with: $16.74 (6) Maxwell House @ $2.79 ea. 11.96 (4) Coffee Mate Powder Creamer @ $2.99 ea. 3.00 (6) Arizona Ice Tea @ $.50 ea. (in-ad coupon) .30 (6) CA CRV ($.05 on each Arizona Ice Tea can) 32.00 Subtotal - 10.00 $10/1 RR (Neuragen) - 16.00 (8) $2/1 (Reach Floss) - 3.00 (3) $1/2 Maxwell House (2/13 SS) - 3.00 (4) $.75/1 Coffee Mate (IP) 0 OOP I will do the Motrin deal on Sunday so I will not be without RRs for long. I haven't decided how many to get since the 3/6 ad preview is not out yet. Each RR will cost me $.54 in tax so I'm hoping to see something in the ad preview that will make getting them worth my while. Okay, off to WAGs and hoping that the in-stock stars align so that I can do the deal.
