LOL Mizbear. I know how she feels, but bears aren't free! I give my butt a break and do one roll charmin, then one roll freebee. I would NOT give i heartra or any site to anyone who works in a store. I feel its asking for trouble. We need all the breaks we can get. Being friendly is one thing, but giving them the info to cut off our supplies.....omg. DH found 28Cents a LB chicken legs & thighs in Pricerite today. It is something to do with ShopRite as their trucks load & unload. He came home with 3 large packs. I came in a few minutes later and saw he paid less than $2 for a heavy pack.I asked how much is in the store and he said loads, so i said clear out the freezer and took off. I got 3 more trays for under $5. OMG. Bargain. Trouble is we can hardly keep the door shut now. It all needs skinning too...gross, but we have about 25lbs whoohoo.

I think I am going to use some UPS to get a few bottles just because We have also been using the free TP from RA and I am not happy with it. FREE is good but this stuff is awful! LOL, next thing ya know I will be splurging on Charmin! ooty: I have to admit that the FREE RA TP is not very good, but free is free. What surprises me is that DH has not complained at all about it. I guess he knows that I know that it is not as good as the other brands that I have in the house, yet I'm certainly not going to throw it away. 4 packages down; 26 packages to go!!

YAY ohio! 2 rants- Has anyone else tried to use their 20% off at CVS things from FB? Not worth the paper it's printed on. Even if they wouldn't allow it to be used on the TP I bought because it was on sale this week, it still should have taken money off the gallon of Arizona tea I bought. GRRRR 2nd rant- I swear I am going to shove all of my extra coupon clippings down my DBs throat! He picked the girls up from school- great, their his kids. because I am contagious and his ex-wife is trying to get straight to move. Well, his 11yo told him that if they went to RA they could get tea for 67 cents if they gave the cashier my phone number because I have a wellness card. He called me and ripped me up one side and down the other saying that I was teaching the kids bad habits because I make them pick things that are on sale or the dollar menu or that we have coupons for- their mother on the other hand loves the fact that I am instilling some concept of budget and saving money in them because she is broke like me. He just doesn't get it. I will probably not be superactive on the boards for a few weeks- my ex-SIL is going to be moving in 2 weeks and right now I am confined to bed (yeah right- I told the doctor I would confine myself to my apartment, but make no other guarantees). mizbear: rest up and get feeling better! I hope you get well soon.

This is a first for me. Today in the mail I got a rebate back from Bee MD and it was a one dollar bill. I forgot I even sent in for it and I never got cash from a rebate before today. Is it even legal to mail cash? I always thought that was a no-no.

hopetoberich, Great deal on the chicken!! That'll make for some AWESOME meals! I did that recently with chicken leg quarters.. I boiled them, skin on, and then pulled them out of the broth to cool. When they were cool enough to handle, the skin came right off. Plus, I have some AWESOME chicken broth! I also tried a new recipe, using some chicken thighs I had in the fridge. I boiled 1-1/2 c soy sauce, 1-1/2 c water, 3 TBPS honey and some garlic, added the chicken and let it cook for 1/2 hour or so. Pulled it out of the sauce and threw it on my stove top grill and cooked it until it was no longer pink, about 5 minutes on each side. REALLY GOOD!!! My kids each ate an entire thigh, so it must have been ok.

If anyone has a Publix to shop at this week, the Viva Italia sale is worth it. Especially since there are several store coupons to go with the mfg ones. I spent $9.47 and saved $34.09, and that was for 23 items.

We just use ours in the upstairs bathroom, and put the better stuff in the main floor bathroom that guests use.

OK...so I was whining at my hubby the other day Before I started using Q's I used to buy GAIN detergent and softener (it is my happy place ) and now have become too frugal to actually pay OOP for any laundry soap or softener. That was the first item slashed from our budget. Y'all know the drill, no brand preference!! So, I was whining at him that I was going to splurge one of these days and get me some GAIN and wash all my bed linens in them them crawl into bed and pull the covers over my head and be in my happy place! Then lo and behold the gain Q's came out a few days later. I think I am going to use some UPS to get a few bottles just because We have also been using the free TP from RA and I am not happy with it. FREE is good but this stuff is awful! LOL, next thing ya know I will be splurging on Charmin! Ooty LOL about the TP....It wasn't as bad as I expected, but then again I work at a school...so I'm just grateful to have 2 ply! As for my mentioning iheartriteaid to the RA employee...these ladies are cool! One of them even gave Vince and me rebate cards to send off for pizza and snack that we didn't even buy there!

The ones from the 4 roll pack were not bad...just went through the roll FAST! The single roll just takes ALOT to get the job done!

I always thought it was ODD...and made me crazy to think how many people never even OPENED it and THREW THE MONEY AWAY!

I had to chuckle this morning as I read through these last posts. I was just telling DF that the reason we now have Colgate toothpaste isn't because I like the brand, but because it was FREE. Once I explained to him how I got it free, he understood, but neither of us like the taste of it at all. I'm going to have to use some UPs on Close Up On a similair note, I made a trip to RA last night to get the Vitamins that my dr wants me to start taking (and work on my Wellness points) and the cashier wouldn't let me check out until I got my free Colgate! I hadn't planned on getting any more (I already had four tubes), but she pointed out that it was the best deal in the store. I'm now only $4.99 away from my $20 +up. I think I'll buy a tube of Neosporin (to go with the Band-aids I got yesterday) and then use the $20 +Up to get the Whey Protein powder that is B1G1F.

NAG For you American Idol watchers. Did you notice the last group performing last night consisting of blonde girl, redhead girl and guy. The redhead, Chelsea Oakes, is from right here in Traverse City. She went to Nashville after graduation from high school (where she had performed in the musicals, concerts, Cherry Festival, etc) to get her start in music. She and Rob performed together and were a couple but have apparently broken up. Her family lives here. So, keep your eye on her. I hope she does well.
Also, went to a fundraiser last night to hear Betty Mahmoody and her daughter Mahtob speak. Do you remember the movie with Sally Field, Not Without My Daughter. If not, youtube it and watch the trailer. The Mahmoodys lived in Michigan at the time and she and her daughter (now married) still do. It was 25 years on January 29 that they escaped from Iran. Quite a story.

Nag: So last February, DH and I went through the P90X program and completed it. I lost 12 pounds and was in the best shape of my life.....well, needless to say, I fell off the bandwagon and gained ALL of my weight back. All the new clothes I bought no longer fit me . So now I am determined to start the program again, with a little modification. I am going to do most of the P90X routines and mix in some other workouts as to not get too bored. I also want to try my hand at Zumba. Has anyone tried this yet and how do you like it? I am going to do some research today and try to find a really good one to order. Anyone want to join in with me and post results as we go? My goal is to lose 15 pounds by the end of May and another 5 by end of July. I am not big, just short, 5' 2", and every pound shows. I really think I am trying to go through menopause (I am only 45, so I guess it will hit me early). I have NEVER had to worry abouth weight but now that I am over 40, it seems I have to watch everything I put in my mouth. Unfortunately, this hounding can be brutal on the diet due to the fact that I have been able to get lots of sweets for little or nothing and I am a HUGE sweet eater. I will have to learn some will power on that one!!

I love Zumba, it's so much fun! I take classes at my local YMCA which are generally packed. At first I was embarrassed that I didn't know the moves, but then I realized that no one cared. As long as you move you're getting a workout.
I've been wanting to try P90X, but was afraid it would be too hard. Maybe I'll try that one.

Freemen: P90X is an extreme workout, but you definitely get results. The yoga is the hardest, I completed the entire 13 weeks with their yoga routine (it is 1-1/2 hours long). I could not do it all the first couple of weeks but it got much easier and before long I could do the whole routine. I just purchased the Jilian Michaels yoga that is still a great yoga workout but she incorporates moves while you are in the stances. It is only 30 minutes but you are sweating your butt off in no time. I will use her yoga workout in place of the P90X one.

suziq38 - send me an e-mail at krichter at shrr dot com and the three of us can e-mail outside of this site. Anyone else that wants to be included, e-mail me and we can all be included.
My hairdresser and her husband did the 13 weeks of P90X. She is pencil thin but did it for health not so much to lose weight. However they also fell off the wagon and it's so hard to get back into it. I don't think I could commit to that even though my son gave me his disks.
Stopped at WAGS this am before work to use a $6 RR that expired yesterday. It went through. I have had to use expired ones before and no problem. However, didn't see any clearanced diapers. Are they marked?

That darn chicken was a smoking deal yesterday, but SOMEBODY has to skin it and cut off any excess fat...yuck.
