Looking at my statement from last month. We had 85 credit transactions in the month of August. Yikes.
We usually average around 50.
So what's your number.

I don't have the slightest clue, but it's gotta be a lot more than 85. I very rarely carry cash anymore, and have no problem putting a $1.39 breakfast sandwich at the company caf on the CC that's in the lanyard with my badge (for instance)

I just counted. We run about 70 on our main card.

I just checked. It was 57 last statement. We're at 32 so far this month. And it's pretty much all gas, groceries, walmart, drug store, and a few restaurants.

Between 60 and 70 for both my husband's and my cards.
I buy everything with the credit card - groceries, meals, shopping, my kids' sports are charged there, the after-school program is charged there, our charitably donations go on there, my husband eats lunch out often, so that could be 15 charges per month right there. Gas goes on there, etc. If they take Visa, I get cash-back points! (Maybe not, I'm not sure of the contract - but I do know that everything is in one place.)

Probably about 100 spread out over 3 cards. We put everything on there - gas, parking, groceries, cell phone bill, gifts, lunches, coffee, clothes, booze. Most transactions are $10 or less.

Typically, about 5 on my cc and 20 on our joint debit card. We have about 480,000 points on our business visa, so I have no idea how often we use that one. We were going to get first class anywhere in the world airfare for 100,000 points, but they dropped the reward. I think I am going to go back to the rank your life thread and increase my number.

I have no idea - a lot. Like chiver said I will put even minor charges on my card and pay it in full each month. Using my points for a flight to Vegas in Nov.

My average is two. I have two cards and alternate between them to fill my gas tank every two weeks. My landlord requires a paper check for rent, and groceries I pay paper cash. I don't buy much "stuff".
So far it looks like I'm the low end. I wonder is anyone here a total credit card abstainer?

I'm more concerned with the total amount of my monthly credit card purchases than the number of individual transactions, actually. We both use a shared credit card account for all sorts of things, and we pay it in full every month. Throw in my proclivity for purchasing on Amazon (2-day shipping for Prime!), and it adds up to quite a few transactions every month!

This month it was 58. Seven of those charges were airline nuisance charges ("premium" seats for DH and me, a glass of wine in-flight, $75 co-payment for trip using miles and $$$), but that's probably a typical month. I even charge company cafeteria meals but pay it all off at the end of the month. Love those hotel and airline points!
ETA: now that I think if it, 2 more were airline nuisance fees. I cancelled a flight made using miles for DH to join me in Europe (left the job that was going to send me there for 2 months) and they charged $150 to redeposit the miles but offset it by reversing the $139 in taxes and fees they'd passed on to me when I booked the "free" travel. Greedy SOBs.

This month was 93, but that was an inflated number for a couple of reasons. My husband has been in the hospital a lot over the last six weeks (major surgery and then internal bleeding sent him back). Also, Discover is running a promotion where I get $50 cash back if I use it 50 times between August and December. I've been charging a lot of small stuff that I might normally pay cash for.

I almost always pay in full every month. I'm another one who puts transactions for every on my CC. While I have a lot of transactions, it usually doesn't total a lot of money.

Maybe 15-20 credit transactions in a usual month, plus at least 10 debit transactions to get a good interest rate on my checking account.

Damn! I have no idea how many per month, but I pay in full each month. It's an interesting concept because all the 'little ones' add up.

About 5, tops. I don't like buying things on credit.

About 90. A bit more than usual because of getting the rental house to sell. I'd guess that around 75 is average.
