What a shame! He's so young and I really hoped he'd pull through this.

I'm glad he didn't choose to die like his character in Green Mile though just because he didn't know how to live in the world with his gifts. I'm sure he'll RIP. I will miss the memorial send off tomorrow for a fellow volunteer who died at the age of 57 because I'll be working one shift. I agree its too young, but in reflection people die anytime from very young to old. While sad its still less sad than 18 year olds being gunned down in Pathmark or kids dying of cancer. I hope he saves me room in his acting troupe in the everafter.

Appeared to be a nice guy. Was great in the Green Mile.

NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) — Mark Abrahamian, the lead guitarist for the rock group Starship, died of a heart attack after a concert in Norfolk, Neb., his road manager said. He was 46. Road manager Scott Harrison said Abrahamian collapsed after a performance Sunday night. "We had just finished the show. We were back in the dressing room eating. He apparently told the bass player he wasn't feeling well," Harrison said Monday. Abrahamian went into the next room and was talking to his fiancee on the phone when he collapsed, Harrison said. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Another one.

So sad. I saw him interviewed once and he seemed like such a nice man.

I loved him as Bear in Armageddon. Didn't see Green Mile. It's a really good movie Beth. Sad, but one of them that just stays with you.

He was also the "Kingpin" in Daredevil.
"Bear" in Armageddon was funny. I like when he starts crying and asks for a hug.

I had forgotten he was in Armageddon until I was reading an article about his death this morning. Not sure how I managed that since I've seen the movie a dozen times or more - maybe because he wasn't as "out there" as Steven Buscemi. I'll always remember him as the voice of the sheep dog in Cats & Dogs and in The Whole Nine Yards. I love the scene where Matthew Perry turns to run and bounces off of him - like running into a brick wall.

Loved him in Armageddon as Bear - Bruce Willis's character asks, "White horse?" and he replies - "White House: spend the summer in the White House." lol
RIP to a gifted performer.
