So tell me, Have any of you been researching investing overseas? If so, what country or area do you think is the best place to invest in?
I ask because I am honestly thinking about moving everything overseas. I'm not happy with the political climate here & don't think that it's good for growth.
Thanks for any suggestions.

A lot of overseas companies have ADRs that you can buy rather than investing directly in foreign stocks. Some ADRs do charge a small handling fee on dividends. Also those foreign Countries grab their taxes out of your dividends.
But this doesn't answer the question that you asked. Personally, i like BMW & Volkswagen. Turkish Cell and Telefonica are two that you might want to look at.
Japanese stocks took a hit after the big wave hit, might be some bargins there.
I'm still on the fence with Hyundai in Korea.

I venture into both ADRs and country ETFs. Just the other day I sold BRFS after it took a big jump up. I'm just sort of watching it now to see where it settles out and may take a position again. This morning I bought FRO. I don't buy any of these specifically because they are foreign, but rather try to find the most undervalued situations I can wherever they are. That said, both the Bolsa and the Bovespa are off their tops and down in the area where they sometimes find support. Those are the types of situations that lead me to (long) ETFs as often as not. None of my moving average signals are giving "full-buy" right now, so, for the most part, I'm content to sit by the sidelines with the majority of my port. There are a bunch of congressional idiots (who think that not paying accrued bills can somehow reduce the amount of that money already borrowed and spent) drilling holes in the bottom of the US boat right now. If the US sinks, the other boats will go down with it.
