I have a goose they might be interested in buying, but they have to be patient and wait for the eggs.

How do you find out who pays the best price for old gold jewelry, etc. in your area? How do you avoid getting low-balled? Thanks.

Use the telephone. You can find out the spot price of gold on tv or the net. Then call local jewelers, coin dealers, etc. Whoever pays the closest to spot is the one you want. ETA: Jewelry is not pure gold, so you will not get the spot price.
