Which board did you start out on?

RDT, if I remember right, it was thought several people from CNBC commented on their individual segments, but they hid behind their nics.
At least that was the rumor at the time.

You are right I heard that too or it was CNBC guests and/or CNBC staff who worked with Kernan, Bartiromo, Cramer, and Kudlow..

I posted on both Squawk and P&M...at the same time in 2002...Squawk was more free wheeling, and P&M was way too restrictive with BobnDC running the show... ihearyou said that I told Bob and the other mods they all sucked my first day there and I think he is right. But I thought I said that to just BobnDC and was banned for three weeks so went back to squawk using another moniker..

Demi I remember that little incident and it was against BobnDC's established and restrictive CoC to NOT say anything negative about the Bushes.

His rule was: stay out of the Bushes... I guess you didn't get the memo..

I deserved the ban. I copied the post and repeatedly posted it. I was new, and didn't know the rules- or etiquette!

He asked me to join in 2002 but I started a Thread in May 2003 that said Bush's comments about major combat missions in Baghdad were over were BS. So I had to provide him some proof of that OP. And Bob wanted a source ,and/or a link so I posted some combat photos taken in Baghdad the day Bush was bragging about what a great job the Navy had done on the USS Abraham Lincoln flight deck with that infamous banner behind him."Major Combat Missions Are Over"....that was another Bush photo op that backfired...

I got in trouble with Bob when some ladies wanted my old unit's address in Iraq so I posted the link for the 1st RAD Battalion's APO mailing address in Baghdad Iraq so they could send the troops "Thank You" cards and apparently that was another violation of his rules and he went ballistic...

I still don't know why that is a violation of the MSN Rules but apparently he said that was like treason for posting a mailing address for a unit in a combat zone....and would endanger the lives of the Jar heads there.. I can see his point because some of the anti-military guys here could send the troops hate Mailers of something worse I guess..

I started on the extinct msnbc US NEWS message boards about 5 years ago, I think, not sure. Been here, there, and everywhere since then. Never found a place I liked until P&M, but got banned for perpetuity there after a year or so. I think this board will work out for several of us that have had certain issues posting on other boards. I sure hope so. Posting does fill the empty hours.
