OK. We seem to have some problems with people who just can't *not* ruin things for others in regards to the olympics.
Many have deliberately avoided news sources so they don't inadvertently find out who won particular events they're interested in, only to have inconsiderate posters here ruin it by posting threads with the results in the title, or post a title that doesn't indicate results are forthcoming.
I, as well as others, find that to be rude. So, it seems we need to set some ground rules!
IF you insist on posting about results, you will:
1. Put SPOILER in the thread title, along with the event name. That way, it's very clear to everyone what is being posted. All spoilers *must* be in a thread marked spoiler.
2. DO NOT put the results in the first post. People mousing over titles can see partial contents of the post. The second post is where you can say who won what for that event.
3. DO NOT post any current day results in non-spoiler threads. They can be discussed the following day.
Anyone who can't be courteous enough to follow these rules will have their threads and/or posts deleted as soon as they are brought to our attention. Repeat offenders may possibly be banned for a day.
A lot of people look forward to this and want to find out what happened for themselves. Don't mess it up for them!

Wow Moon, you think of everything!! Well done!! p.s. I didn't see an Olympics Thread anywhere, perhaps I didn't look hard enough??? I expected to see it at the top anyway. Sorry if there's two of them now. I know from wicked experience, some people, get all bent if you post two 'daily's' God forbid......there's two Olympics ones. Ya'll can ignore mine if there is. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
