Sounds like a scam to me. Everything sounds like a scam to me, though.

The amount of money that is made from people's insecurities about their looks is amazing! But there are still so many ugly people out there. So, I can only assume that most of these products don't work (or work in such a small margin that it is totally unnoticable.)

Iggy, I think those things are temporary. And I think the main ingredient is usually something like caffeine that will draw out water that is being retained underneath the skins surface. Exercise is really the only tried and true method of tightening up. ~ There is no magic potion.

So does the stomach flu - but it always comes back. I would ask her how long the 1/2 inch stayed off.
Plus - a 1/2 inch isn't noticable - even if you walk around with a tape measure on the day before and the day after - not one person will notice a difference - not even you.

Many years ago, before I was married to DH, my sis and I got Mud Wraps from our beautician - same concept it was supposed to take inches off. I was not sufficiently impressed to try it a 2nd time.
My niece recently invited me to a "Wrap Party" I ingnored the invite - They can easily manipulate the tape measure by pulling it tighter for the 2nd measurement. DN seems to latch on to every home party money making thing out there.

Apparently they're a non-woven cloth wrap which removes toxins from the area it's applied. ---------------------- Highly doubtful. Remember those cloths which were supposed to remove toxins through the soles of your feet? They proved it's a scam. I can't imagine how that would work. Organs like livers and kidneys remove toxins from your system...not magic cloths.

Nah. These really don't work well. The way to tighten up is exercise. It's really the only way to do it right, and it's got sooo many other benefits.

The girdle still works. Also control panties and some of those fancy underthings. I don't remember what they are called. What I want is the new waist wrap thing that acts like the DVT socks to stimulate circulation. I have seen 2. 1 was like any stiff waist wrap. The other @ $30 looked like what was advertised. In the meantime, I will try to dress for my body type. ---------- Humorous and offensive at the same time. I overheard a couple of guys discussing my chest. I wear those quick dry fabrics so I have to have a stiff cupped bra. They were lispy-style snearing at my falsies. All from the eptime of male blah out of shape, overhanging bellies, too many nights on the bar stool, way over the hill. But G-d made me this way (talking about themselves).

They do not work. I have had it done 2 times. Once in Hawaii when I won a free day at the Hilton Spa through work. The other time I did it on a cruise ship. Basically all it does it drain a bunch of the water out of your skin cells. Do not waste your money.
