That story breaks my heart! Who does crap like that? I suspect we'd never want to know or encounter the sickness and evil of a person that can do that to an innocent animal. But I ask that question every day and will NEVER get it. I have to quit reading stuff like this because it's starting to really affect me and my feelings towards people and the world in general. It seems to be getting crueler and crueler...

I didn't read it, either. I can't handle stories about children or animals.

It seems to be getting crueler and crueler... I think this also. Then I remind myself of my grandfather who fought in WWII. How bleak must the world have seemed to people who lived through both of the world wars? Or I think about a time period like the 14th century when I likely wouldn't be thinking about it at all because I would already be dead due to the Black Death, the Great Famine, a horrific war or my ripe old age (under 35). This sounds glib, but I don't mean it that way. I get moody and pessimistic about humanity. As bad as it is, it seems better than it was.

would also agree with the aspca commercials. The commercials are so difficult to watch to where I actually resent them for subjecting me to that. Even if I donate, those commercials don't go away. Other things to add: poorly designed parking lots, final exams that equate to 45% of the final grade and final exam questions that really are harder than any of the exams, people on cell phones driving, and people texting to where I've just about gotten run over by them blowing a light, or being in the wrong lane. Things I'll blame myself on: being a perfectionist to where any flaw I can find in what I did on an exam, I will mentally beat myself to a pulp (presumed or otherwise). For example, I beat myself up for a better part of 3 days over one problem on the 2nd exam since the answer didn't check. I thought I did one thing wrong and was pissed at myself since I spent literally over 12 hours working on those problems (which are multifactorial). When I got back the exam, I found I did everything right, but I made a small error in the calculation at the end, which threw everything off. Going through the same process with the final with the self doubt. ugh.....

"Asbergers ADD" People with Asbergers are not sociopaths or immoral people. They just have trouble expressing emotion, and are often confused. Don't conuse us with those damn souless gingers My best guess as to why people do this is they want to feed some desire to have control over others. They feel they have little control over the rest of their lives, so they try to feed their desire for control by taking out their frustrations on a helpless animal.
