Last year AA offered 2 cards with 75,000 mile bonuses (each) if you charged up $1,500 on them in the first 4 months. I grabbed them. We PIF every month so finance charges weren't a concern. When the annual fee kicked in I cancelled one. 150,000 miles is almost enough to get an unrestricted Business Class ticket to Europe- well worth it for us.
