Couldn't find this topic on here so I hope it hasn't been covered.
I blew the rear passenger tire this weekend. Is it alright to replace just that one tire or do I need to replace them all at the same time. If it makes a difference, I drive a 2009 Rav4 4-wheel drive, and the tires only have about 17,000 miles on them. Also, they're rotated regularly.
Thanks!

If I replaced all the tires every time one went bad/flat I'd be bankrupt. If your other tires are all fine there is no reason to replace the other three, just replace the one that blew.
If they aren't then might as well replace them all in one shot.

I thought I could replace just the one, but then I've heard people say that if you drive a 4x4, you'd need to replace all of them. What say you, Rick?

Thank you, all, for your input. I guess I'll just replace the one!
