Schwab does not charge a brokerage fee for their ETFs. It occured to me that there might be an opportunity there to make a small return repeatedly. So, i had $150 sitting in my IRA doing nothing. I took the then current price of SCHD and subtracted 2% from it and put in a good until canceled buy order at that price for 5 shares. Today the buy was completed. So, now i've added 4% to my purchase price and put in a good until canceled sell order at that price. When and if this sells, I' have made $5! heheh, i know big deal. but i just want to see how long this works, and it is more entertaining than watching paint dry. If it doesn't work out, i'll still get about 2% yearly dividend, better than a bank.

TD Ameritrade free ETF's must be held for at least 30 days. Yes, I can do a lot with $5.00.
