lonewolf..... There is no way of knowing exactly what the stock will continue to do... keep climbing, or retreat. Only you can make the decision on profit taking or holding. All depends on your investing philosophy... a trading gambler, portfolio builder (long term holder), etc.
Just be careful if you are branching out on your own. All I can advise you is to watch out.... "There is a minefield out there, step very carefully".

lonewolf, a little more advice:... as to how often a stock doubles in a year.... go to any website that gives the 52 wk. highs/lows, insert a bunch of stock symbols, and you'll find that there are many stocks that have the 52 wk. high more than double the low. But then I suggest you pull up a year's chart, and be sure the low occured prior to the high....that is if you're bullish on the stock. GOOD LUCK.

Long PSQ (ProShares short QQQ)
The NYSE short interest ratio fell from 16.4 to 16.1. Nasdaq short interest ratio fell from 4.3 to 4.1. Public specialists short ratio fell from 16 to 12.3. Those ratios would indicate improving sentiment but I don't think there was any economic data last week to indicate an improving economy. I'm going to call it a short covering rally and still expect QQQ to test the 200-day moving average at 59.90. I still have a real life position in PSQ.

I'm going long this week with the Qs as it appears, at least for the moment, we shall have a positive week in the markets. AAPL is a significant part of the Qs and AAPL may have a big week with the developers conference taking place and the possibility of product announcements.
rovo Long TQQQ
TQQQ is a +3X play on the Qs.

I need some apples!!!!!!!!
BTW, home grown carrots are sooooooooooooo much better than store bought! I hadn't liked carrots for years, until I planted some last fall. Just totally unbelievable the difference! I've kept planting about once every month to have a steady supply. It only takes a little row about 2-3' long to keep DH & I in carrots. Ya'al could do the same in one of your flower beds!

Lonewolf, if you have a doubler, sell now. You can always re-invest on dips. Also there are a lot of stocks who double regularly but most of them are on the pink sheets.....
