I just got home from work 4.5 HOURS! Thank you to my two gardian angels for gettng me home safe, my friend and co worker who said the roads are bad, and last but not least the SHA THANKYOU. You have a tough job ahead of you AND the first responders may you have a safe tour of duty. You will have a guardian angle on your shoulder tonight! To the IDOT on 695 near Harford Road/LochRaven exit... THANK YOU for rocking your car and dropping a mound of snow in front of my car. Thanks to you I GOT STUCK. And to the IDOTs who think driving home in the snow is an excuse to use the emergency lane IT NOT! You nearly side swiped me! But thanks to the disabled car in the EMERGENCY LANE you got stopped! I need a drink!

It's official, CT has higher snow totals than Buffalo, NY. This is the snowiest January on record and we still have 5 days to go.

I always had a shovel, blankets, high powered flash light and a full tank of gas when I was working.

We've already had the snowiest winter on record, and we still have 2 good months of snow to go.

Last year was weird for us--we didn't get any real snow after Christmas last year, nothing at all in March. And March is usually our snowiest month!

Yes, it is snowing in South Jersey with about 4" on the ground and predictions of 9" to 18". I'll be going out to shovel as soon as I post this as I like to try to stay ahead of it. The tractor will be out tomorrow morning for sure. I can't shovel 200+ feet of driveway by hand with this much snow on it.

Sorry, guys. We used to get a ton of snow here, but this year, almost nothing. Today was awesome and sunny and warm!! I might not see the sun at work again for a little while so I'm enjoying every second I can--I made sure to do my outside work at work today

Apple that's just wrong, I'm only a couple of hours south and the freezing fog didn't lift all day.
It's your birthday, so you deserve a good one, but it bites for the rest of us.

Apple, I just have to say I love your sig line. My sister's pregnant, and she's keeping the name a secret, so in the meantime we've been calling her (we know it's a girl) Electron. Our family's kind of weird...

I hate to rub it in ( ;D) but today I put on long pants "just it case" it got a little chilly while we were doing our running around.
On the other hand we have 105 degree summer pretty often.

We got another foot, I had to walk 10+ mins up to my car, spend half an hour digging it out, then get to work only to find that the morons who own the building hadn't even plowed the lot yet so had to drive around to the parking garage then walk to work from there, and the roads are still crap. I like snow... but this is getting ridiculous!!!
