I never knew drag racing was about pushing the engine to its very limits. I always thought it was something about top speed and quick reaction time. This Sunday watching races with friends I found out they rebuild the engine after every run. I can't believe no one told me this before now. I really love how you can flip the sheet metal up on the car like the car was a giant front hood. Also learning that course records aren't broken constantly because it depends on weather factors, etc. piqued my interest. Now I want to watch more and I'm not sure who has cable who would want to watch drag racing with me. Optimist minorly sad. Drowns sorrows in virtual beverage.

Optimist, Theres a whole world of auto racing out there, be it Drag racing, offroad racing, Nascar, etc. Almost every aspect of the sport requires cars being rebuilt after each race, track conditions, weather etc. Sit back with that remote and enjoy! ( I build hotrods/restore)
