Without trade, $4000 off sticker would have been good on that car, so sounds like you did ok considering your trade.

I'm not a tried-and-true YM'er, which really surprises me that I'm the first to ask - WHY are you financing at 72 months?  ouch.  that really hurts my head. and I didn't need any help with that tonight. |

Nice and IMHO good job negotiating for an Altima!
I too like to buy new, maintain well, and drive until the wheels fall off. Too many problems in the past with new to me cars that were not well maintained and my father was the king of that.

I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with financing for 72 months if it meant locking in a better rate or an incentive, or if my cash was earning more elsewhere. I'd definitely pay it off sooner, though. I'll probably be looking for a new car in the next 2 years.

Oooeeee, Ooooeeee ! Pretty, pretty car. I had a great Nissan when I was married to first not-so-dear DH. Loved it. Congratulations ! Also, keep the gas tank at least half full, and get the oil changed regularly. I heard doing those things bring good luck too !! ( Sorry, skubikky, I couldn't resist ). That's ok....I'm just a bit stupidsticious |
