Absolutely nothing, it is 93 degrees here ,and I don't want to leave the house. I may or may not order dinner because it is too hot to cook. Plus I don't have a grill.

bonn - I hope your DH feels better soon! I broke my toe a few weeks ago and it's funny how annoying even a small injury can be.

Thousands of dollars because I am turning over a rental. I can't believe the wench didn't even clean her own toilet. It's stuff like that that makes me want to get out of land lording sometimes. How do you live like a pig? How can some man even stand that you're a pig?

Well, we went to a local theatre production/charity event. Tickets cost $35, but I paid for those last month. The dessert auction cost us $85--though that was partly the fault of one of DH's employee's wife. She kept driving up the price of something and then when we stopped bidding, she got very upset indicating she wasn't supposed to be spending any money. She was kind of drunk too.
Tomorrow, we'll drive to a national cemetary for a Memorial Day Service. Gas will cost us about $40.
Any other money spent is on groceries we'd have bought regardless of the weekend.

Figures are just about in. Probably $50 for groceries for our houseguests, $125 for a restaurant lunch and dinner, $27 I spent on yarn, $51 on gas. We genuinely enjoyed having them around.
Reciprocating the visit by traveling to their place near LAX will cost considerbaly more!

Spent about $150 so far this weekend. First on Saturday I renewed our family membership to the science museum and bought tickets to the special exhibit for $84 plus $5 for parking. Then we bought a pizza for $30. On Sunday we walked to the beach but it was underwater due to heavy rainfall so we sat on the dock for a couple of hours-free! Last night we saw the matinee of Men in Black III at the cheap theater. It cost $22 for admission, large popcorn with free refills and two large drinks with free refills. Today we are going to the in-laws for a picnic so again free!

With it being a holiday weekend that kicks off summer, what are your plans and how much will it cost? I don't think I really want to know. We go to Kublacon every year. I think it's about $150 for con tickets for the four of us, but we buy those in August/September when the tickets first become available. We also reserve the hotel room then, because the hotel fills up pretty quick. The room itself runs about $350 for the weekend at con rate. We probably spent about $200 on new games and stuff at the con. Food was probably another $150 over the weekend. So... $700, plus the $150 we'd already spent. Good times.

About $2000, because going to a wedding apparently required DH buy 2 suits, 2 shirts, 2 ties, and 4 pairs of shoes. Also 2 broken champagne glasses that SIL is supposedly going to replace...

I spent $120 at the grocery store on soda, mustard, barbeque sauce, pickles, tofu hot dogs & buns, bananas, etc. for cookouts and a cake because it apparently was my BIL's birthday on Friday (Facebook said so, so it must be true.) And I kept running to the corner store for bags of ice to fill coolers. I like to have one out on the porch in the evenings stocked with Pepsi. $40 on liquor that my mom asked me to pick up, and I refused her paying me back.
We went to the Nike outlet on Saturday and I bought a pair of Air Max's for $69 - so glad I can still fit a Youth 7 - and a pair of shorts for $11. I am going to start the Insanity workout with my sister next week.
Sunday we went to the Children's Place because my older niece is growing like a weed. I bought her a couple of new t-shirts, earrings, and got cowboy hats and sunglasses for her and her sister. $54 after tax.
Yesterday, Michaels for fake rose petals and baskets so they can practice playing flower girl, as the eldest is in a wedding in two weeks. I also found two cool notebooks with Spiderman and the Hulk on the cover (for work,) That was $23. JCPenneys for $17 sale dresses, a new swimsuit that doesn't make my boobies look obscene, and a polo. Around $80 or so.
So, just over $390, not including gassing up the car.... I should have stayed home.

Dark's trying not to look like a complete YM failure - this weekend cost us about $1100, but we only take one vacation a year and this was it and it was worth almost every penny! (As usual, we could have spent less on food, but most of the food we purchased to eat instead of buying food at the con is now being used for kids lunches, so I'm not counting it).

Dark's trying not to look like a complete YM failure Not really, I just don't pay attention to the bill when I'm signing it. I don't even know how much cash we took with us, but I know my wallet came back empty. Like totally and completely empty, not even one lonely dollar.

Just added it up - 1100 dollars. We went with another couple to florida to visit friends. 1100 dollars included flight, gas, meals/groceries, tickets to busch gardens, and a facial at a spa place. We live 2.5 hours from chicago and a weekend there a month ago ran the same amount which is crazy to me.

Since we didn't buy a car, our weekend came in at about $60
