I had my ultrasound today and the mass they saw on the mamo was "normal tissue." HUGE relief. Huge. Can't understate that one at all.
I also made an appt with the doc to look at my side/ribs pain next week and to find out what the chest films show. I hurt, but at least I feel like I am moving in the right direction with it.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers. I really needed and appreciate the support.

Thanks so much for letting us know! I'm glad you got the results so quickly. I've had a couple of falsa alarms and I try to tell myself that the typical mammogram looks like white spiders swimming in a bucket of black water so sometime sthey do need to look more closely- but it's still scary. I hope the surce of the pains turns out to be something easy and treatable.

Yeah it was scary for awhile. I try to remind myself now that I'm doing all I can do and that cysts are common. It was all a little much at first but I'm doing better.
