sarah, even though it's a pain in the butt, it's good that you're arming yourself with information so you don't end up blindly trusting a professional to handle everything for you. You do need to be able to make informed decisions and weigh the advice you receive, because like you said, nobody's going to care as much as you and your Dad do.
