Has anyone ever had apple ketchup? It looks like you make applesauce, and then mix in vinegar and brown sugar and such. It sounds like it would be awesome on a pork tenderloin or something. They said it is a heritage food - something our grandmothers or greatgrandmothers would have cooked 70+ years ago.
Anyone ever had it, heard of it?

The recipe I saw just said "tart" apples. It had a fair amount of sugar in it.
