Wow! Completely retire, are are you still going to have a finger or two in the business? My friends who have retired are teaching part time. They love it. $55 an hour.

My life won't change all that much, really. I've still go mother to care for and that takes up a good deal of my time. As her needs increase, it's necessary for me to be available more. I'll still help out at the clinic when I can. It's just nice to realize there is no more need to be in a given place at a given time several times a week!  |

Congratulations. A lot of my friends retired but still work part time to cover their medical health insurance.  A couple of them were recruited and hired by the local junior college to teach lab work. |

For me, a lot depends on what my mother is doing, Artemis. If she's awake late, I'm awake late. If she's up early, so am I. If she sleeps in, I sleep in. She needs a lot of help right now, so I sorta wrap my ups and downs around those needs.
