Moon, I just got back from a quick trip to New York and talked to a Thread manufacturer. He was telling me how Wal-mart has put a lot of small Wholesalers out of business. Wal-mart will only deal with manufactures. They want only the best deal. I told him I have bought his shirts for years, never at Walmart. They last for years!!! Just a thought, Bruce i get that part, Bruce.. but that isn't what this thread is about, was my point. however, i did miss a post made by someone, which resulted in my questioning the Virginian as i did.. i've apologized to him privately for that oversight.

They can spin off WalMex into a different company, and have it trade elsewhere, maybe. I think bribes are part of doing business in Mexico, if I'm wrong, it won't be the first time.

Moon, In fact Walmart's huge distribution system is as much Wholesale as retail..Like Revco years ago much of the profits were from Wholesale/distribution. Yes, they buy direct from China and have there own import systems, also!! That is how they were so early into China with huge stores. Thank-you, Bruce

Walmart is ruining all businesses. No. Walmart is not. The people who reward them by shopping there are.

Based on WMT stock price, the bribery issue is null and void. WMT stock has outperformed just about everything this month.
