Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens. Warm woolen mittens. Bright copper kettles. Brown paper packages tied up in string.

1. Beer Not much of a beer drinker....but an ice cold light beer at a ball game on a hot summer day is just perfection.
2. Wine This is like Sophie's freaking Choice. I could never pick just one.
3. Food A good rare steak with garlic mashed taters, creamed spinach, proscuitto wrapped roasted asparagus and a glass of red wine. Or just a bag of dark chocolate peanut M&Ms.
4. Car I mostly couldn't give a rats ass about cars, though I would love a 66ish Mustang convertible. Or an old Jaguar.
5. Pet All of MY pets are the best in the world! neener-neener. Currently a Yellow Lab and a shelter cat.
6. Color Wine-colored! I have no idea. Green maybe??
7. Vacation place Not work!
Seriously, I have just realized that I do not have a "favorite" anything.

I don't do yappy dustmops. Those would work for me. My parents have had 30 pound english cocker spaniels that were/are great. My uncle has a golden that's a great dog. My old roomates had an 85 pound rottweiler that was a great dog. I just don't want anything that I can throw father than 10 feet with one hand.

Seriously, I have just realized that I do not have a "favorite" anything. I'm glad to know it's not just me! Well, other than the color and the wine choices. I choose to think I'm just adaptable, instead of being too rigid in my preferences. I can get along with just about anyone/anything. Just about...

My old roomates had an 85 pound rottweiler that was a great dog. I just don't want anything that I can throw father than 10 feet with one hand. I grew up with Lab mixes. My ex grew up with Yorkies. When we were looking at getting a dog, we agreed to compromise with something in the middle--thus the 40 lb mutt. She's always been a mama's girl, and I'm the one who wanted her more in the first place, so my ex relinquished her to me without a fight. ;D She's now 6, and I've told her she has to live forever. She usually does what she's told, so we'll see... I adopted the Golden last year, and he just turned 2 on Saturday. I thought the mutt needed a friend, but it turns out the Golden just likes to drag her around by the neck and steal her toys. Just like a 2 year old.

Lol. When I was growing up, we had a 60 pound mutt (mostly sheep dog). When she passed, we got a schnauzer. When she passed, my dad got the first english cocker. He and my stepmother then got a second. The first just passed away, but I don't think they have plans for getting a second dog for at least a little while.

1. Don't drink beer, so let's replace "beer" with cider." That would be Samuel Smith's 2. You might as well ask me who my favorite child is (if I were the breeding kind) 3. Again, with the favortism! Sushi or pizza. 4. My Honda 5. My cat 6. Green, I wear something green every day 7. I used to love going to Nags Head, haven't been there in a few years. I need a vacation somewhere!

LOL befferz! It should be out of the crazy puppy phase sometimes soon....I think.
Also, what the hell is St. Croix Raspberry Infusion?
I think there are too many options out there to be tied to a favorite anything. Plus, I'm moody. My favorite today is not my favorite tomorrow. 'cept my doggie and kitty are always my favorite dog & cat!

LOL, Meg! We had pretty much the same answer for wine. "favorites" feels so limiting! Plus, I don't want to hurt any of the other wine's feelings. What if they got mad at me?

LOL befferz! It should be out of the crazy puppy phase sometimes soon....I think. Also, what the hell is St. Croix Raspberry Infusion? The puppy is a heck of a lot calmer than he used to be, and sometimes he's actually better behaved than the mutt. I think he's just trying to play most of the time he harasses her (isn't that what men always say? ), but she would rather lie there quietly with her bone, watching my every move. And St. Croix Vineyards is "my" winery, the one I volunteer at a little. They're just a small, local winery, and they don't have the quantities to distribute nationally. Although they do sell through their website. Rasperry Infusion is a dessert wine, 75% raspberry and 25% Frontenac (I believe). It's also fortified, so it's very strong, like port, but obviously has a very fruity taste. Most people either love it or hate it.
