And black people are known for their junk in the trunk. She has big hips and the ass to go with it... but her upper body is quite small. I really wanted to say that, but as a white woman who lives in mayonnaise and wonderbread land, I didn't know if I could. But judging from the junk in my trunk, I think I must be part black.........

But, it does beg the question because she and Washington seem to think they have some business or right to but into BMI. If we don't care about her, then she doesn't need to care about us either. If she wants to take up that mantel then look the part. So considering First Ladies have a platform, what do you suggest instead? You know what? I think Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" campaign butted into my right to ingest drugs, and both Barbara and Laura Bush had some audacity to care about literacy. The nerve! Showing up into my school and telling kids they need to read a book... Grr!

I think her "Let's move" campaign and encouraging kids to exercise is great. Turning it into another set of laws and Food Police is something else. Michelle can't write laws.

I am sorry you are not adept enough to see that these kinds of posts only appear in response to threads started by Lakhota in order to balance out the universe. That's all. If I remember the original speech, I am way too much of a slacker to look it up . it was in reference to a large percent of young people who want to enlist in the military being too over weight to qualify. That is where the national security statement came in. That we are getting to the point of not having enough physically fit young people to "man" our armed forces is considered by some to be a great threat to national security. And I remember a general saying the same thing. I don't care if anyone disagrees with my politics but calling someone ugly isn't a political statement. It is just plain rude.

Read more: notmsnmoney.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fun&action=display&thread=2174&page=4#ixzz1BxvyjmsIWith that being said, I read a fact somewhere, that only 9 percent of all eligible people try to get into the military, and of that 9 percent only 2 percent even qualify. Whether it be fitness requirements or run ins with criminal behavior. So when people say they aren't hurting anymore with their actions as a teen, they are hurting them selfs in the long run. My dad used to say, be careful what you do because it can bite you in the butt sometime in your life.

In my universe no P&M threads can be balanced out by starting threads in EE. Balance can be achieved by not reading P&M though. ;D

Optimist -- the thread was started in P&M but it was moved here because it's far more EE related.

Then I think we should send it back to P&M to re-balance the universe.

Snerd, You have to make posts that the liberal P&TM mods can't say are off topic. I suggest c&ps of Ann Coulter articles, Michelle Bachman and Rand Paul speeches, and stuff from the World Net Daily website. The mere mention of those names will create fits of the conniptions amongst your target audience.
Note the new P&TM rules about posting articles, too.

Sweet! I'm at 26.54. Finally cracked overweight. Just need to add a little more muscle mass and I'll be obese with a 32" waist.

Rose, what is yours? Post a picture. My BMI is about 21 - 22. Do NOT touch my cheeseburger!! Birds of a feather....my BMI is 22.7 and holding. The only problem is that it's "shifting" lower and lower.

The real problem is that her husband is underweight and it makes her look larger than she really is-she has one of those bodies where you have to keep the muscles defined to prevent the fat from winning.
