Since Immelt has been named to the President's commision, and now GE reported good earnings above suggested numbers, where will the stock go from here?
It was at $18.44 on January 3rd.
Closed at $19.74 today, due to earnings......
I kind of miss the old company boards at MSN........so I did not no what board to post this on.........

Whatever they do, it would have been a lot better if they got rid of Immelt. wxyz, you did not vote......,but you are probably in the two lower choices.......  |

I voted 25% but i can see it even going higher
It is my number one pick of 2011
I think most of the GE Capital problems are behind it....and they will raise dividends again later this year

I use to be in this stock but bailed out after it refused to break above $20 a year or so ago..There were too many broken promises of the turnaround, etc.
Thinking it is time to get back in, but Jeff just does not seem like the guy to lead this stock forward.
It was hard for me to fathom why the Board of Directors never made a change in leadership the last three years.
Don't know if I can trust them, but it does look like this stock could pull up 25 to 50% this year.
