Yes, we are planning to bid on this to make ethanol from CO2 and H2.  The have used this from 1925 via FT system.  On the other hand we want to make $$$$$$$$$ so we may also sell chemicals like SaSol.

The best part is that with the slight adjustment in temperature and a change in catalyst, we can make $$$$$$$ on any line of clean hydrocarbons and CO2 redirection we want. That's the beauty about separating out the bonds at the start of the reaction.

And here we go. While the S part of CCS is useless, the CC part is set to be part of the next generation of industry. I see another documentary about, "Who killed the electric car?" in the future.

While more biofuel in nature, we are currently discussing clean fuels so I'll post this here...

Talk about a completely backwards way of achieving cleaner fuels. Right now South Africa has the cleanest fuel on the market, and it's completely compatible with current engines. We could be producing clean, cost effective fuels - without affecting the food supply - while providing good paying jobs; and all we have to do is heed Mark Twain's words about ignoring what is going on in other parts of the world.
