Okay, the web site you posted, was quoting a Fox survey...okay. Seems like the poll numbers correspond to the prez's approval numbers. I think you are confusing the Fox News Department, with the Fox Opinion group. All the other broadcasters have similar setups.

Polls are about as useful as shoes on a monkey. What is today has nothing to do with tomorrow. Peoples opinions change as often as they change their socks.

I would love for someone to explain to me how the above numbers mean 51% would vote for someone else & only 42% would vote for Obama. Not sure what numbers you are looking at. I have the link up on my monitor and it reads: 42% will vote for Obama 51% vote for someone else 5% Too soon. That adds up to 98%. The poll also says it was a sampling of 900 registered voters taken on Jan 18-19, 2011. www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/poll1.pdf

It is easy to say that you will vote for "someone else" until that "someone else" is named and you start seeing their warts. I keep that in mind whenever I want to fire one of the people that work for me. Can I find someone who will do a better job or will I just be trading old problems for new? The same is true for the wife.

Polls are about as useful as shoes on a monkey.Oh, come on now! How about all those polls that had the Reagan/Carter race too close to call right up until the day before the election? We all know what a squeaker that one was!
