For all of the HR professionals and anyone looking out there, how are companies advertising for positions? Is it strictly online, classified advertising or am I missing something here. Thank you

Some positions are being filled even before advertised thru networking.

If unemployed I'd throw a wide net.

All of our jobs are posted exclusively on-line. We don't hire a recruiter unless we get desperate. If you are coming in through the network, we still have to post the job internally, post the job externally, post the job on at least one job site, and you have to put in the application before you will get interviewed. Granted, the last part is a formality to actually getting the interview.
