NNP, you have to click on the regular reply option at the bottom of the thread,not use quick reply. If you know the shortcut to type them, you can do that in the QR.  |

Is this where the EE folks may wind up. I know I rarely post but I would hate to lose track of the "characters" and I use the term fondly. After catching up on email, EE was the first thing I opened.

I am fine, thanks for asking. The car, not so much. Broke the transmission line, maybe other stuff. I actually ran over the deer and car is a taurus. sits fairly low to the road. But any wreck you walk away from is a good one and thats what I pay insurance for. I wouldnt need to drive all the time if my workplace would just let me work from home. |

Hmm, now I see where you got the quote thingy, I used the big black arrow in this reply box - but glad to know about the box quote - at least you know who you are quoting ok.. as some have seen, if you want to quote a person and have it show up as above, you click on the "quote" button at the top right of that person's post. it then puts it in a box like this one is. one note to make here: if you wish to quote more than one person in a reply, it's labor intensive. i quote the one, copy the code to a notepad, hit the back arrow, quote the next, copy THAT code into the notepad, etc until i have them all done. then i take everything in the notepad and put it in the reply box, add my responses and post it. the exalt/smite is like a ratings system here. i can't remember if you can only exalt so many times a day or what. i'll have to look. |
