ok as a kid i remember mixing a concoction [hope i spelled that right] made of oatmeal coacoa peanut butter and im not sure what else into a pot cooing it on top of the stove then at some point spooning ingredients onto wax paper to cool into a chocolate cookie. we called them no bake cookies does anyone know the exact ingredients cook time etc?

There is one similar recipe in the Desserts: Cookies thread on here. They have PB and cocoa. They're different than the ones I used to make but I haven't dug up my own recipe yet. k65 posted it--maybe it's close to your old one...

Wannabe, that sounds pretty close to the recipe I remember. I will have to dig it out and make some. I hadn't had them in years and finally had some on Christmas Eve at my parents.
