I was there in April 2010 Dome. Probably the most peaceful trip of my life. Stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki. Went to the Missouri, the Arizona, the Bowfin. Went to the Dole plantation, up to the Punchbowl, out to Hanama Bay, out to Germaine's Luau. Didn't get a rental car, took public transit everywhere. The wife and I were the only two people on the bus up to the Punchbowl. We sat up front and the driver told endless stories about Hawaii. He pulled over, got out, and we took pictues of him! The most laid-back bus driver I ever met. Many hours out at the pool and ocean drinking and sleeping. We're saving up to go back again.

Sanman Hope you get to go soon. My wife & I will be going this August for our 35thAnniv. We will be staying at the Royal Hawaiian for a couple of days where we spent our honeymoon. Then its off to Maui for a week to swim, snorkel and drink by the pool. Normally we go every year in the winter months but had to skip last year because the unexpected occurred the year before. While we were there in March 2009 the market hit its low. In which case had to wait until things got a little better. So for us it has been a long wait. 2 1/2 years. Oh well. G'damn scumbags! I would highly recommend going to Maui on your return trip. Way laid back compared to Waikiki. Big Island even more plus tons of things to experience. Let me know if you need directions.

Thanks Dome. Ah . . . . if I were a rich man . . . .
My Mom and Dad made many trips to Hawaii, sometimes for a month. Mom said when they got to the airport to return home, she'd start to cry. She just didn't want to leave.
When the wife and I were there, I think my blood pressure dropped 20 points or more. The people there treated us like kings. Everybody - bus boys, waitresses, people on the street. I loved the guys who rigged up little trailers for their bicycles to haul their surf boards to the beach. You'd wake up at like 4:00 a.m. to go pee, look out the deck towards Diamond Head, and there were hundreds of surfers out in the dark in the water, waiting for a wave.

Hey sunrnr I guess I am doing my part to contribute to the economy of Hawaii. I try to make a regular contribution every year. To me the big disconnect has been the vacancies of the two biggest employers on the Islands. Dole and C&H sugar. I remember my first trip. Dole was a real presence and during March on my second trip to Maui burning the suger cane. They do not do that anymore. Other than tourism what else is there? Beef on the Big Island. They sell it all to Japan. ALOHA

This may seem wierd. Pretty quiet and civil today. Is that due to Decoy gone fishing? Gold down? Market up? I haven't had or heard a pissing contest with Mid and don't wish to start. Going to Hawaii soon!

Good God. I remember one of my jackass friends telling me to see Deliverance, that it was a great comedy. My aching ass it was (pun intended).

Damn....you got me by 2% in 2010
GE was by far my best + 81% so far and that is with buying all the way up to 15's
I am hoping for a pullback shortly....havent bought anything in a while
I figure 8-10% correction...and then add to positions again
Now i am trying to figure out if i add to my 4k ounces of silver too.....for LONG TERM play

The new uniforms are in for the staff here in The Break Room. Talking a big chance with those exposed ankles.

Who posted what pic to get the Yoga Yoga thread bounced to the Adult section? I didn't see anything that wouldn't normally be seen on any beach by anyone on that thread unless someone put something up that I didn't see today.

Virgil is getting complaints from people that take themselves to seriously . I found it locked. I have no idea what happened.

I just saw a message from Virgil telling him to move pics with partial nudity to the Adult section. I'm not sure what is meant by partial nudity. If a string bikini is considered partial nudity then I think that's prudish.

I guess it's not up for vote Z. The #'s on that were strong. There had to be a couple of thousand views after I manipulated the #s.
