There sure are some noticeably thin skins on MT the last few days. Everything's gonna be fine. The universe hasn't changed. Nobody's gonna be much different than they always were. Funny will still be funny. Stupid will still be stupid. Trolls will still be trolls. Mods will still be mods.

I use volatility as it's own asset class. First part of the year ..all financial ETF's. Long and short.
Some great American funds that have doubled and tripled in the last couple of years. This last Q. Shorting gold. again ETF.

Frank ain't dead. I talked with him last night. American funds is something he pointed out to me. Got some nice photos of him at the ceremonies for 911, at the memorial. Frank is one of the major contributors for this event...Part of our history really. Nice shot of him and Rudy Gulianni together. Add into the mix, our President and former President. Nice day !
My favorite part of the memorial is that virtual nobody's got the contracts for it's development because of their American ingenuity. The bronze plate fabricator is a two man company that developed a better faster cheaper way to fabricate and the architect is a young guy 34 with a vision. Those were the perfect choices to build this thing.

I saw that Picture also - It shouldn't have, but that picture amazed me. It makes me sad that such a great person was taken for granted here on MT!
But - FTI is keeping in touch with his friends - I'm glad he accepts me in that circle!

I have never used them since they were "load" funds.
Sold a lot of Templeton and Oppenheimer back in the day. One way or another, there's a load.
