So... twice today, I have had a Rick Santorum sidebar ad pop-up when I logged into my hotmail account.
(In my defense, I have a very common name, and while I could get myname@hotmail.com way back when, I could never get any variation on myname@gmail.com)
But who else still uses hotmail? Is Santorum's target demographic people scared of technology? People trapped in 1997? Nigerian princes?
Because I can't imagine there is anything else in my demographic profile or search history that would trigger a Santorum algorithm.
Anybody else seeing questionable political profiling?

My guess Craftysara is that ad shows up on all hot mail accounts. I see Obama and other ad's like that show up on windows that I open every day.

Just wait, on March 1st google's new privacy policy goes into effect. It basically said that so they can provide you with better service you have no privacy. They will share your searches, links you read, sites you visit and any other information with all of their affiliates AND you cannot opt out.

My guess is that they get some special deal for placing their pop up ads on these web sights. Just guessing.

Oh snap, it looks like non-binding Missouri GOP voters totally use archaic email systems!
I know it doesn't count - but did anyone see that coming?

No and even more surprising is Paul came in second. Plus Romney did not win in the other two. Talk about throwing things up in the air.

No and even more surprising is Paul came in second. Plus Romney did not win in the other two. Talk about throwing things up in the air. huh? Paul is last in early returns. here was the polling as of three days ago: 2/4 - 2/6 938 LV 37 27 21 13 Romney +10 the 37% was Romney. 27% was Santorum, who was polling 3% in December. 21% was Gingrich (which is about what he is going to get) the only surpise, and it is not much of one, is that Romney might come in 3rd, rather than 2nd. Romney was never expected to win in Minnesota. he has not lead there for six months. i have not seen any polling for Missouri. this is really Santorum's night. he got over 50% in all three states. hats off to him!
