Is the 78 the year you were born? Did you know that Monday night football was banned at Foxboro for many years? Do you know why? I was at the first game when it was allowed again. vs. the Bills...very good game. There are nasty fans in every city, Philly is terrible and Boston is a small step behind. Sports are only games and when riots occur and people get hurt there should be extremely harsh penalties.

I've never been afraid at a Boston venue, even with a group of people wearing the opponents' colors. my comment was in reply to a few of yours that just screamed sour grapes for whatever reason of yours. I wasn't here for the Sox riots after the ALCS, thankfully. sadly, I had to miss that series as I was working in Europe. to this day, I have not seen all seven of those games. had I been here, I would have been at Game 4. long story very short, my ticket went to a friend who still tells me about the wonderful game I missed. great friend, eh? anyway, you're right in that there are idiot fans (and idiots in general) everywhere - look at Vancouver. the idiots that burned the streets after the Cup finals had nothing to do with the game or the series......just idiots. as far as rubbing me the right way, well you are on EE. how YOU doin?

You keep eluding to things I said that were first Anti-Boston, then that rubbed you the wrong way and now scream sour grapes. So which one is it? And exactly what comments are you referring to? I do believe the size of Beantown has a little to do with it, NY being a bigger place many people aren't into it as much, lotsa other things going on there. Foxboro is THE only venue that has ever been banned from hosting Monday night football, that says something and not much you can argue about there. Yep Vancouver has had its share of riots, it is the biggest druggy city in Canada. I would guess that's part of it....hell they had riots during the Olympics for crying out loud
