Somebody asked me on ebay. They saw my listing for the C&C coupons and I am just scratching my head as to what possible deal they could be working to justify 2000 $2 coupons for clean and clear??? I get that amount on the KY (been asked that question for those too) but C&C??? I was hoping maybe somebody on here knew of an upcoming deal.... Hmmm, I have no idea. I wonder if it's good on travel size. Maybe it's a MM at Walmart and they can get overage??? It excludes trial sizes, but maybe they are getting away with a "travel" size....

Leanna and Constanz: What is the Rite Aid toilet paper comparable to? That's a good price and I was thinking of buying some. Mawmaw: I got your envies out yesterday. It looks pretty decent, better than their regular TP that was free last year. I haven't used it yet, but I just took a package into the bathroom. I'll try it and let you know! I was getting pretty low on TP, was down to like 2 12 pks, so, it was definitely worth doing for me.

Thanks for the tip, twinmama. I was able to get free shipping on my drugstore.com order, so I could use my $6 credit. Of course, I was weak and used it to buy candy, but I'm sure it will be delicious ;D I don't know that I would keep the subscription for $80, but it should come in useful next christmas, if nothing else.

Oh I would never pay $80 for "free shipping'!! You would have to do A LOT of online shopping before you could even break even on that one, but I figured for a buck, it would pay for itself the first time I used it

Rebates: So my unexpected trip in January resulted in me dumping all of my coupon stuff from my purse and wallet, b/c it just doesn't "gee haw" with flying internationally. I dumped everything into a ziploc and I have been steadily going through it. Thank goodness. I just found my RA Rogaine receipt and realized that I had not sent in for the $20 rebate . With that said, I sat down and organized the two Tyson Anytizer rebates I am doing, which require the UPC *what a mess*, and the Colgate/Palmolive rebate, too. Maybe this ramble will remind you guys about rebates you might forget *by accident* too.....

Do you have any idea? TIA

the response I saw on SD was to simply write them down on a piece of paper, as the form is non-specific on that point. I wrote the quantity, name of the product then the UPC. Hopefully, it will work...

I agree with misspt that it seems comparable to Angel Soft. I did try it tonight...I'm not at all picky about TP though...

Just got back from grocery shopping. I shopped 2 stores and what I normally spend around $260-$270 on.....I paid $188!!! That is huge for me. I stocked up on cleaning supplies, toilet paper....got 10lb of chicken (great for gumbo, stews..etc), stew meat...after school snacks when my kids bring all their friends here to eat. Milk, fresh produce.....lots of stuff! So proud of myself even though it isn't as awesome as the deals you all do! I made my menu around what was onsale and used coupons. Congratulations!!! It does get easier though, trust me.

imanangel good job! the first time i did it i did about 50% savings as well I guess there is a really good deal on Maybelline Baby Lips for 2/12...Heres the scenario: ***DEAL IDEA*** Buy 5 Maybelline Baby Lips $3.99 Buy 5 Maybelline Baby Lips $2 (50% off) = $29.95 Use (10) $2/1 Maybelline Lip Product coming in the 02/05 RP Inserts = $9.95 + tax | Earn $10 Cash Card Final Price? Just pay tax! Would be great to add to the giftbaskets you guys like to do ;D she recommended getting in touch with CVS and having them pre-ordered so that you can actually get them + possibly ordering the Qs online Wow, I like that deal. I could convert $10 in EBs to another $10 GC!! I was going to do the Pepsi deal this week, but I have a rain check that is better so I decided to wait and use the rain check. In the meantime I have EBs that I'd love to convert. But the chances of my getting 10 coupons are probably slim to none. Is 2/5 supposed to be a good coupon week? If so I usually buy extra papers and you can have whatever I get. I know I won't do that deal.

I just wrote the UPC numbers directly on the top of the receipt. I figured since I only had 2 different items, it wouldn't be hard to recognize. There's no way I could get the actual labels off the deodorant tubes.
I created so many problems at CVS yesterday. I went to the random little downtown store because they are the only place I can find stock. Of course, nearly everyone who comes in there is buying cigarettes or snacks, so they don't know how to deal with coupons well. I picked up my 6 speedstick and 2 more skintimate because they still had the signs up and I didn't know if they'd killed the deal or not (plus I found more $2 peelies). When I went to ring out, the cashier scanned my speedstick coupons and they took off 3.99 automatically, even though they only cost 1.99, so I couldn't use my EBs. He was also concerned about getting in trouble for the value being wrong, so we had to call a manager. After she sorted it out, my skintimate EBs didn't print, so I had to argue with her about the signage. It was a bit of a frustrating trip...I just considered myself lucky I didn't get a parking ticket because I know I was in there longer than 15 minutes...

I must have missed the RA TP deal. Can someone repeat it here? Thanks.
Myfrugaladventures dot com has a link for some Pepsi/Frito Lay q's. The link takes you to hereeverythingsbetter dot com (I think that would be the web address). The site looks similar to coupons dot com.

Leanna and Constanz: What is the Rite Aid toilet paper comparable to? That's a good price and I was thinking of buying some. It's very decent quality. It's not at all like the stuff we got free last year at RA. This is their higher quality stuff. I would say it's not quite as comparable to Cottonelle, but I'm quite pleased with it (and I live in a t.p. snob house lol.) Here's my original post with the deal: RA Toilet Paper Deal Alert Buy:(3) Rite Aid Home Bathroom tissue 12 double rolls (381.3 sf) on sale $6.49 ea = $19.47 Less:(3) Rite Aid toilet paper coupons $3/1 ea = -$(9.00) (Coupon found here: (It's the first one) docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=0B2uFVFmpyo-gYmUwNDlkNDgtMGMwNC00OGNhLThjYWQtOGM2M2E1NGFiYTRj&hl=en_USOOP = $10.47 Receive (2) $2 UPs Summary: $10.47 - $4 in UPs = $6.47 or $2.16 per package. This works out to 6/10th of a cent per SF! This is below the 1 cent per SF many here like to pay (and that we've rarely seen lately. A couple of important notes:-If you have a snarky RA or cashier, you might have a problem. The coupon says "one per customer" so they would be within their rights to not allow 3 coupons. -Only (1) $2 UP is listed in the ad. So, it's one of those things that RA could turn off at any time. GOOD LUCK!

twinmama - received your envie today. Thanks bunches!
misspt - bummer about the bread. As far as I know, they still get good bread in SA. And the really good ones with whole or crushed wheat (that you can actually taste), only cost $1. DH said that Canada has good bread too. His cousin delivers bread to the stores in Canada.

NAG: So, I had a friend in from out of town over the weekend and he wanted to go to the arch. We met up with another friend and her two boys, so there were 8 of us all together. We decided that we wanted to go to the St. Louis Arch. My DD has been there, but my DS hasn't, so we went. Took the tram to the top, walked around and looked out over downtown St. Louis and had a ball. We're on the way down and the tram STOPS about 5 feet from the door. Yes, we were STUCK in a little tram car in the Arch. My DS starts to cry, as he's a little scared. My DD, who is 7, starts SINGING a song to the tune of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"...but changes the words about being stuck in the Arch. She was carrying on at the top of her lungs, totally oblivious to anyone and anything around her. My DS started laughing at that point and all was well. We were only stuck 5 minutes, but it was a LONG and HOT 5 minutes! NAG: So, with the new thread being started, I now have the emoticons! It's the little things that get me excited! EDIT: So I'm a REAL dork!! Just realized that I'm not in Firefox, but Google Chrome. Wonder if that has something to do with it?

missourimommy,
That story is so cool and reminds me of my younger sister. She would sing loudly (between the time she was 5 or 6 and 8) when we were on a train or bus, and we would be embarrassed, but she had such a beautiful voice that people would smile and sometimes even sing along. Glad that you are all safe.

missourimommy -- it is possible that Google Chrome does not support the emoticon lists on here; however, doubtful ;D I am so happy and I feel so DH is going to go with my to Financial Peace University with no complaints!! I was so happy, I think this will really lock in the idea why we are sacrificing so much and couponing like lunatics, I think it will be great for us to learn to communicate better too Speaking of couponing, he went with me tonight to do it a little at the commissary...my savings was only 19% with coupons but that doesnt include the 6 2lb packages of HB that were about $6ish/ea, normally over $9/ea...he was funny though cause he kept trying to add things to the cart and I told him if I didn't have a coupon for it, I wasn't buying it (except for the ground beef of course )
