Clavicula Salomonis"The Key of Solomon, save for a curtailed and incomplete copy published in France in the seventeenth century, has never yet been printed, but has for centuries remained in manuscript form inaccessible to all but the few fortunate scholars to whom the inmost recesses of the great libraries were open. I therefore consider that I am highly honored in being the individual to whose lot it has fallen to usher it into the light of day." -S. Liddell MacGregor Mathers Treasure up, O my son Roboam! the wisdom of my words, seeing that I, Solomon, have received it from the Lord.
Then answered Roboam, and said: How have I deserved to follow the example of my father Solomon in such things, who hath been found worthy to receive the knowledge of all living things through (the teaching of) an angel of God? www.esotericarchives.com/solomon/ksol.htm#table2

So does this boil down to Roboam giving his esteemed father, Solomon, some lip for name dropping and not wanting to do as he is told?

Conjuration might be a pretty tough sell to this crowd.

I don't really have the time, inclination or the funds necessary to summon a demon or an aerial spirit at this time. Explaining subordinating conjunctions to my 12 year old proves difficult enough but I do appreciate the attempt by others.

I saw something similar to this in my sons scribbler. I wonder if I should be concerned?

Sumer or later. Sumer, the beginning of all things music. Perhaps Sumerstock may cause them to return? Musical comebacks are all the rage.

Cap'n, thanks for posting the link. I sometimes enjoy ancient teachings. I read the Dead Sea Scrolls but did nto study them. Since this is posted here, I will try to read it.

BRVTVS and I chillaxing at my Sumer place. I Kings X 10 When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relationship to the Lord, she came to test Solomon with hard questions.2 Arriving at Jerusalem with a very great caravan—with camels carrying spices, large quantities of gold, and precious stones—she came to Solomon and talked with him about all that she had on her mind. 3 Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too hard for the king to explain to her. 4 When the queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon and the palace he had built,5 the food on his table, the seating of his officials, the attending servants in their robes, his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he made at[a] the temple of the Lord, she was overwhelmed.
