why single out Islam? how about those whose religion is "none"? yes, Governor, your apology is accepted. let's see what you do and say from here, as to whether that was a sincere apology.

Not currently but I have known and worked with some over the years. I have nothing against them at all. I didn't even know one fellow at work was one until I went to his place and he told me. The problem I have is with the ones that do not assimilate and just the general numbers of them especially in England. It is not working out so well there and I do not want to see it happening here in Canada or the US for that matter.

I always get a good laugh with these types of hollow apologies. In this case, Governor Bentley knows he offended people of other religions, even those with whom he shares a common religion, with his remarks.

Governor Bentley should 'man up" and say "I am sorry I offended others with my remarks."

But the necessity of misspelling something would confuse people since there is no "l" in any of the words.

Regardless, he used a very poor choice of words for one who reports to all the citizens of his state.

IMO, let me repeat that part, IN MY OPINION, I found the statements by this politician to be saying that he isn't willing to represent ALL the citizens from his state, but only those that believe as he does.

On this forum? You're joking right? Anyone who is familiar with me and my posting history knows full well how I think in this matter. Suffice it to say You will never see me apologizing for "offending" anyone here or elsewhere for espousing a Christian worldview. If one is offended to the point of retaliation by the Christian doctrine then perhaps a bit of introspection is in order? Contrary to public opinion there are not "many truths"..........good luck in your search. And may God bless you in this matter. I do not intend to comment further on this topic.

Seriously, this is how you respond to a simple question? You tell me to review your posting history & do my own research - cop out answer if there ever was one.

I was not offended (or "offended") by your earlier post, but was just asking for more details. I'm not familiar with you or your posting history, so I have no idea as to your christian worldview. I know plenty about christianity, so I was simply curious what you seemed to think everyone has so wrong on this thread.

A post that states we know squat about christianity implies some of the posters had statements that you could point to & indicate what posters had wrong. Since you completed sidestepped backing your statement with any actually argument, then I will just assume that you were spouting BS. And your intention to not comment further also indicates to me that you really don't know what you are talking about either. It is an interesting ploy, but without an actually argument or followup, then I can't give any credence to your statement that posters here know nothing about christianity.
