since my younger brother was allowed to start dressing himself. One of the guys at the office is wearing black plaid cargo shorts with a yellow plaid button down shirt, white socks and tan Keds. Is this some sort of new fashion trend to mismatch plaids?

Speaking of strange attire, does anyone else have a superhero man at work? You know, the guy who wears comic book superhero t-shirts every single day. Office covered in action figures and posters of the same. Dude scares me just a bit. Has a very creepy vibe going on.

Is that really any different than you sitting in the corner with Mickey Mouse ears on?

Cheesey, how old is this guy and what kind of dress code do you have? I am not suggesting it's appropriate in an office setting, unless your office is an amusement park or a hair salon. But these young kids today don't see it that way. Their need to express themselves outweighs safety, common sense and just plain normalcy.
We had a guy in our office who outfitted himself in the most worn-down jeans you've ever seen. Strange, because the rest of his grooming and attire was good. But he wore the jeans low, and they dragged, and he thought tailoring was a waste, so he always looked like he was dragging toilet paper on his shoes, when it was actually the tattered threads of his jeans.

The guy is in his early to mid 30's ( I am a very poor judge of age, but he IS younger than me)
It is a very casual dress code here, the techs can wear shorts. I don't, I simply don't think it is professional.

POM, he wore the jeans low because his belly was in the way of where they were supposed to be. But honestly, he thought tailoring was a waste? "I'm trying to lose weight," he would say, "So it doesn't make sense to spend the money to have someone keep taking in my clothes."
Yabbut it obviously makes more sense to ruin them by dragging.
Oh, and this is the guy with the six-year car loan, arranged that way because "the payments were cheaper."

He needs a cheap payment because it's very important that he always has a car. You can't expect him to walk all over town with his pants dragging around that way.

Oh, he gave us the "plumber's view" on a few occasions. Dude needed serious manscaping, just sayin.'
And yes of course he needed the car. But he traded in a paid-for luxury car from mommy and daddy because it did not suit his style. Like six years of payments does?
