I hope this is a simple question.
Last month my husband and I visited our vacation rental (as part of our 14 allowed days) and spent about $175 on various supplies; e.g. printer cartridges, vacuum bags, furnance filters et cetera for the renters' use (not personal). I paid for them with a credit card on 12/20/11 but didn't pay the credit card until today (actually will be posted on 01/04/12).
Do I take the deduction for 2011 or 2012?
Thanks for your help,

Expenses paid with a credit card are considered paid the date they were charged to the credit card.
Hope that helps.
